Good for the price

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean!
Cons: Separate floors as "smoking" and "non".
Location: Close to Del Amo Mall! Location safe!
For the most part the hotel was nice and convenient. However, the breakfast provided was disappointing. In addition, getting to the "non-smoking" room that we booked (which was fine and didn't smell like smoke) we had to exit the elevator where the floor wreaked of smoke until we entered the "non-smoking" hallway where our room was located. I would suggest that the hotel designate whole floors as "smoking" and "non-smoking" so that patrons don't have to walk through smoke to get to a non-smoking room.

Clean room, That's about it

Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location.
Cons: I wish the staff would have actively sought out whoever was smoking illegal substances. It smelled like 50 people were smoking in that hotel.
Location: Close to the mall, ocean, and Stubhub (if you have a rental car).
The property is convenient. Upon arriving, the lobbying reeked of illegal substances. There were signs warning guests not to smoke illegal substances (even though guests clearly were). As we went up to our room, the hallway had an overwhelming smell of illegal substances. Our room was clean and fairly newly renovated. We were very happy that our room was smell-free. For the price and location, this hotel was great, although I would never want children to stay in that hotel.

Terrible hotel

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Terrible hotel. Very bare minimum. Towels were smaill and rough and thin. No room service for the 3 days I stayed there and 2 of the 3 days my AC did not work and they didn't fix it. Said they could not move me because hotel was sold out.

Had good experience with other extended stays but not this time. Non smoking room was suppose to be guaranteed a was given to another customer without notice. Had to spend the night with window open and fan on.

Pros: It has everything I need like a studio apartment.
Cons: I wish the whole hotel was non-smoking.
Location: I am relocating so its a great location to get used to the area where I want to find a place to live. Whole Foods & Vons are nearby. Close to beaches.
Good location for extended stay in the area for single business traveler (or someone relocating to the area). It has all the basics of a studio apartment, including A/C. They take care of everything except laundry. I found the room clean and the bed comfortable. Free wifi is a bit slow, but I can still get things done while staying within my budget.

Pungent Odor in the room

I have always been staying in this Extended Stay location as it is in a good area with lots of restaurants and shopping closed by whenever I have to travel to Los Angeles for work. However I am very disappointed this time because the room has this very strong curry smell as soon as I walked in, the smell even got to the pillow cases. I have same experience in the past with curry smell but it only stays in the corridor. I will not go back.

Hotel was inexpensive, condition of hotel was not great, no business center, not much parking space, convenient and not far from LAX
