Pros: Clean and easy to get to where I need to ge;
Cons: Parking -- bar attached takes much of the night time spaces if you come in past 10
Location: Turn into hotel not easy
Parking a bit tight, working to improve hotel, even on Saturday and Sunday mornings -

Needed a place to sleep, shower, and chill in for a little, this room did exactly that.

Room needed to cleaned more thoroughly-- especially the furniture. I was reluctant to sit on the sofa or club chair because it was so grungy. And then since the carpet and blankets were such a dark color we weren't sure how clean they actually were. Otherwise, the room was very spacious and the grounds were nice. The continental breakfast consisted of bagels, packaged sweet rolls, packaged muffins, cereal, yogurt, apples, and bananas. And we liked that this facility was so close to APU.

Hotel was close to Azusa Pacific University. The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Also hotel was near many choices of restaurants and shopping.

Liked it, didn't love it.Posted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
Good, not great. Plus: great refrigerator. Large, spacious room. beautiful faux marble sinks. Air conditioner kept room cool despite over 100 degree heat. Plenty of bright lamps around room. Seems like new carpet or not very old anyway and it was soft and good quality. Good pillows. Minus: Cheap quality shampoo (bring your own). Felt like something bit me when I slept so I slept on top of the covers and it didn't happen again. TV never worked right, could never change the channels and it had a mind of its own as to what channel it would land on when I first turned it on. Was totally useless. Hole in the wall where a doorknob punched the wall and needs fixing desperately. Chairs in room were comfortable and not ripped, but they were stained beyond cleaning and need replacement. Recliner leaned a little to one side. Overall the flaws were minor if in fact it was my imagination that I was bit when I tried to sleep under the covers. I was there on business and the room accommodated my needs just fine. Good value for the money, but not exceptional. If you can find a better place and can afford it, do it. If not, then this is an acceptable alternative. I liked it, but didn't love it.

Multiple Stays, Same Great Results!Posted Aug 5, 2015 on Hotels
Have stayed here twice over the past year, have had an excellent experience both times. The owners of the hotel are rough around the edges, but very fair and reasonable. They ensured that we got our room as soon as possible even though they were entirely booked for the weekend. I will definitely be back

Older facility that shows its agePosted Aug 4, 2015
Cons: Room lighting, staff interactions, more thorough cleaning
Furniture in room was dated and looked like it came from a thrift store. It looked like some rooms were being renovated but ours had poor lighting and a loud air conditioner.Free breakfast was available but minimal. Thank goodness that Flappy Jacks Pancake restaurant was nearby. The staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful. The facility is close to family that we planned to visit, but we would not choose to stay there again for any other reason
