Parking overcharge

I have a open problem with expedia gold plus with no response yet. Luckily Expedia Gold Plus customer service came through for me, not only did they refund the erroneous charge , they provided me with a coupon.for my troubles. Memberships has it's privileges.

Pros: How close it is to everything...
Cons: bottled water should be available at the cost of the room....
Location: food, entertainment

Looks nice but bad experience

Bed bugs bites in the room and late night hotel staff is very unhelpful and have wrong attitude

Good location, close to commercial area, more restaurant choices lately. Staffs are very helpful and nice! Good service!

Somewhat disappointing

Pros: Great public areas, restaurant (expensive!) and bar. Great bathroom appointments. Great bed and pillows.
Cons: Block off and soundproof the connecting doors between rooms. Provide free internet access and breakfast buffet. Add couch and chair to room.
Location: Convenient to Metro and multiple bus routes (but you really have to know the LA bus system to use it efficiently).
Great public areas. Room was small but bed and pillows were very comfortable. No sofa or lounge chair, only desk chair. Room had Minibar items temptingly displayed (candy, chips, drinks) with sign saying they were $4.00 each. I thought Minibars were a thing of the past. Tub was large enough to take a bath in (not always the case), but shower dripped water even when the knob was pushed down to select bath. Bath water not subject to flow control and hot water was super-hot! Loved it! No free internet access -- they charge for it (I tethered my laptop to my cell phone and so avoided the charge). Good cell phone reception. No free breakfast buffet -- restaurant is excellent but on the expensive side. Comfortable lounge at the bar. Ask for a room that does not have a connecting door to the next room, unless you really do want to hear everything -- and I mean everything! -- that goes on next door.

Great location in downtown LA.

Checkers has always been one of our favorites. Great location close to MOCA, The Broad, the Disney concert hall and lots of restaurants. The Hilton staff is pleasant and did not hesitate to change our room from one that was very noisy to a quieter location. Hotel dining is excellent, albeit a bit pricey. The hotel is showing its age, however. The ceiling over the shower had a slow leak and bubbled paint. It appeared it had been this way for awhile. This said, we love the hotel and will likely stay there again.

Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman(ARW).

In town to see Jon Anderson, Rick Wakeman, and Trevor Rabin (former members of YES), at the Orpheum Theater. Perfect location, phenominal music and musicians. Except for traffic and awkward shower, this was a magical experience.
