Nice hotel very close to Universal Studios

Pros: The room.
Cons: Nothing. It's perfect.
Location: Universal studio and lots of food at k-town
Very nice room. Elegant. Very close to universal. Had an awesome weekend stay.

Perfect for Universal Studios

So impressed with this Hilton stay. Staff were friendly, informative and efficient. Shuttle for Universal Studios ran every 15 mins and only took 2 mins to get there. Enjoyed the pool and spa which stayed open to midnight. Well priced, classy Hotel.

Very Diisappointing!

I made this reservation in May for our stay in August. We were so looking forward to staying here. We checked in about 20 minutes before regular check in time. They said they only had one accessible room available at that time. Our room was below the lobby with a view of the alley and air conditioning units. Such a huge disappointment! Told bellhop we were unhappy but we were not offered another room. Will NEVER book here again.

Not worth the money

Elevators did not work. Seems to have been broken for some time but they are in no rush to fix them. Ridiculous price on the breakfast buffet, it was not worth the money. Nice location if going to Universal Studios, but that's about all the positives for my experience. Multiple spiders in the room too.

Good standard Hilton by Universal

We stayed here as we wanted to be close to Universal and Warner Bros. The location is ideal - although not he easiest to get to if driving - the sort of place you can clearly see out of your car window but can't actually get to due to the road network! The hotel is very nice and feels very high quality. The room size was good and furnishings were of a high quality. Had a slight issue with the air conditioning on the first night but this seemed to be fixed. The main issue at the moment is that the hotel is apparently having its elevators replaced. This meant an atrociously slow elevator service to get to and from rooms. Fortunately we were only on floor 5 so could use the stairs without too much hassle, but I really felt sorry for anyone on higher floors. People seemed to have to be waiting literally 15 minutes for an elevator at certain times. I know maintenance needs to be done, but surely this could have been better planned? It was really bad - especially in a hotel that was so good otherwise! I also thought the parking cost was very steep - almost as much to self park as for valet.

Large hotel very near universal studios

Pros: Nice room, lovely pool, and closeness to universal studios was fab
Cons: Lifts need to be improved, they were very slow to arrive and one was not working the whole time we were there - 4 nights. Wifi should be free.
Location: Excellent location right by universal studios and close to Hollywood
A nice hotel excellent position near universal studios within easy walking distance. Weekend buffet looked superb with various delicious seafood dishes. Wifi is not free which is a shame we paid a daily rate but it only covered 3 devices. I think this needs to be changed as we were a family of 4 and after a long day out not all of us could log on. Lifts were extremely slow waiting for them to arrive
