"Beautifully Unique Hotel"
Room was great, Bed was comfortable, amenities were nice. You are in for a unique experience as the rooms are not your typical hotel rooms, this is NOT a bad thing. Rooftop bar is great, drink prices are reasonable. Enjoyed my stay here.

Sunrise Hotel San Pedro

"Good value for straight ahead accommodations"
The hotel is a little old and unkempt and the staff a little grumpy, but nothing terrible. The hotel is located directly across a boardwalk with a view of the Long Beach Harbor. It is also conveniently located close to the freeway entrance. The street below is noisy. Guests who want quiet should ask for a room on the inside. Guests like me who want to watch the harbor show get a room on the street side. Note: I was driving back and forth from San Pedro to Long Beach and the construction on the bridge route made driving dangerous and confusing. This is October 2016

Tremendous hospitality from check-in to check-out. Dimitri is the best host in town at the Tower Bar and restaurant. It is worth the trip just to have dinner there.

"The Dunes Inn Motel in L.A. on Wilshire"
The Dunes Inn was very clean and comfortable; and in a part of town where I felt safe. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend The Dunes Inn to anyone wishing to stay in the downtown L.A. area without paying a fortune.

"The photos are misleading but overall good. "
I was worried when I first arrived & noticed the old neighborhood & hotel. But, I was limited with my last min trip & decided to stay. The front desk staff were friendly. The pictures are misleading and the hotel could use a big renovation inside/outside.
