Good enough to (kind of) sleep in
Posted Oct 18, 2016
Before we arrived we called ahead to see if we could check in around 2:30. (Check in is 3 pm) I was told they couldn't find my reservation, and asked me for a confirmation number. I'm in the car, trying to look through my emails for a few mins and say it was through Expedia. "Oh, that's different!" so maybe check all the places where reservations might be before giving someone a panic attack! Then she says it'll be 30-45 mins before the room is ready, so basically 3 pm.
Check in was slow and the customer in front of us was complaining about a smell and how something was really disappointing. The woman at the desk didn't say much except sorry.
The beds are comfortable and the room is decent but the hotel is full of strange smells and noisy. At 8:30 on our checkout day, someone tapped violently at our door (we were still in bed so we didn't get up) and they pushed the check-out info and receipt under the door! Then the maid started vacuuming next door. All before 9am.
The breakfast room doors close immediately at 10 on the weekends so get there early. We didn't make it either day but I feel like we didn't miss anything.
