Night hike in Griffith Park.
#Hike #Stunningstructures Griffith Park has always been one of my favorite places to hike because of its numerous hiking routes; from easy to almost strenuous, and because of the unique views.
The night before this hike, I programmed my mind to make an early morning, photo shooting hike. I made sure my cameras' batteries were fully charged, set my hiking stick by the door, organized my hiking clothes and shoes; and prepared a turkey sandwich for the go. Although I have been to this place so many times; specifically this trail route, I felt like a child; filled with excitement just knowing that this time was going to be different. I was going to be out there not just hiking and breathing some fresh air, but I was going to play with my camera.
I made it to the park by five in the morning as intended, since I wanted to avoid the big crowds and the lack of a convenient parking space. And there I was, with my camera and all; anxious and excited to take on this hike as If I was going to a far, exotic place. I decided to take the short cut trail route to the location where this photo was taken from. Although steeper and narrower than the usual and less tiring route, I was able to manage with my load; camera backpack, hiking backpack, tripod, hiking stick, and umbrella for the sun. All this load and steep trail did not matter to me, I had a mission in mind; to simply experiment with the art and happiness of taking pictures. Upon arrival at this point of the hike, I noticed how special the observatory looked that morning and I just began taking pictures. While taking pictures, I realized I totally lost track of time, but it did not matter and I simply continued on with my adventure.
Indeed, this is a hiking day I will not easily forget .
#Hiking #Spring at #Hollywood #Crossroads of the World has been called America's first outdoor shopping mall. Located on Sunset Boulevard and Las Palmas in Los Angeles, the mall features a central building designed to resemble an ocean liner surrounded by a small village of cottage-style bungalows. It was designed by Robert V. Derrah and built in 1936. #LoveMyTown
Once a busy shopping center, the Crossroads now hosts private offices, primarily for the entertainment industry. It has been used for location shooting in many films, including L.A. Confidential and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, in TV shows, including Dragnet and Remington Steele, and in commercials by McDonald's, Ford, and Mattel. A reproduction of Crossroads' iconic tower and spinning globe can be seen just inside the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Today, Crossroads is the creative home of a variety of music publishers and producers, television and film script writers, film and recording companies, novelists, costume designers, publicists, and casting agencies. #Hiking at BatMansCave a very slippery place on winter ,and the earth is so loose ,watch up for falling rocks 👍🏼😒 #LA #Hollywood #OutDoors Here's a cool spot you have to check out if you're in LA, you won't be disappointed. Griffith Observatory is a space observatory, planetarium, and astronomy museum in California. Because the observatory is so high up, its offers an incredible view of the city below.
The sweeping views from the Observatory are out of this world during the day, and by night you can see the shimmering lights of downtown Los Angeles in the distance with the city lights spread out below you all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Legit Korean BBQ with a At the rooftop of the observatory, one can have a great view of the Los Angeles skyline including the iconic Hollywood sign. The Hollywood Cross sits on a hill next to the dilapidated (but currently being renovated) Ford Theater across from the Hollywood Bowl. Here, the 32 foot high cross watches silently over the city of angels.

TCL Chinese Theatre is a cinema palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, United States. Originally known (and still commonly referred to) as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theatre in 1973; the name lasted until 2001, after which it reverted to its original name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation purchased the naming rights to the facility, making its official name TCL Chinese Theatre. This resulted in the first affiliation of the Chinese Theatre with an actual Chinese corporation.

The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others. The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. It is a popular tourist destination, with a reported 10 million visitors in 2003. A mailbox in the Garden of Oz. This may be the BEST burger joint on the planet (fo real). I had the truffle burger. Smushed potatoes are tasty too. Great service, fun vibe. Golden Bridge Yoga is a Kundalini studio. They have regular classes and also offer special meditation events that range in duration and price. For example they held an 11-11-11 meditation session for $45 in advance and $50 at the door (if it's not already sold out) starting at 10:30am ending at 1:30pm. They also have shorter sessions like 7:30pm to 9:30pm for $25 in advance and $30 at the door. They offer drop in classes for $20 or you can be ambitious and get a class package which range from 5 class pass for $75 to 20 class pass for $220. Or if you are feeling really committed and ambitious you can go for a 30 Day Unlimited pass for $150 or Unlimited auto-pay option at $119. It's a great space and the teachers are knowledgeable and humorous. There is a good feeling here. And on the right day you might be in class with Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity) from the Matrix trilogy! She is there to do yoga and/or meditate so I trust you will be respectful of that and not blab that you found out on Trover where she does yoga ;)
The cafe has a verity of yummy healthy food with savoury and sweet selections. A little on the pricy side but sooo good for you and very yummy.
The gift shop is small and the prices aren't bad, comparable to other yoga stores.

#losangeles #california This shot was taken at a gas station after an evening hike at Griffith Park. As I drove, I heard this loud noise under my car; therefore, I decided to pull over at gas station to figure out what was going on. It was a piece of carton which was stuck and was not able to remove. I decided to move vehicle in reverse and piece of carton was gone. When I exited vehicle to make sure that piece of carton was completely gone, I noticed this colorful, looking beetle. It is a ten-line June beetle or the watermelon beetle. #SweetSpot View from the hill. The historic Pantages Theater is located in Hollywood near the landmark intersection of Hollywood and Vine and across the street from the W Hollywood Hotel. It was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. In has been a vaudeville venue and a movie house and more recently a venue for live theatrical productions. The Pantages has been used as a location in several films. A favorite quirky reference is Rickie Lee Jones' mention in her 1979 hit Hollywood is a fun place to hang out, people watch, and feel famous. The walk of fame is longer than I expected and there were near buildings to see all along the way. I thought it would take 2 hours to see, but we spent all day there. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds of tour buses, and a quick High Tower Elevator I seen coyotes all the time during my hikes at Griffith Park, but never this close.
