very average hotel

Posted May 2, 2018
hotel was just alright nothing amazing, staff was minimal and the line to check in or talk to someone at the front desk was always long. free car service advertised fort three mile radios is not as guaranteed as it was made out to be and the location is a bit awkward.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the long wait at front desk. Front desk tends to be busier around 3 pm when check-in starts. The complimentary shuttle bus is available to all hotel guests, and it has to be booked at front desk either in person or by calling or texting. Unfortunately, sometimes specific slots might be fully booked, but we do offer rides every 30 minutes to accommodate everyone. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks,

Pros: Everything
Cons: The balcony, can be a bit scary on higher levels

Very convenient location to explore LA. Lovely views, staff, area, and room. Would definitely recommend to others to book a stay!

Nice hotel but staff are unfriendly

Posted Apr 27, 2018
The hotel itself is nice, small and old room but nice and clean. However, maybe because this is a gratuity-free hotel, the staff are not friendly, except for valet and shuttle service. BAD EXPERIENCE: (1) Front desk do not answer the phone immediately. (2) The fridge in our room was not getting cold, and when maintenance got there, he does not seem to care. He just said, "I cannot do anything about that". (3) On our third day, we asked housekeeping to clean our room while we went out. When we got back, the room was cleaned but they did not replenish our soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and bathroom tissue. We had to go to the front desk to ask for it. (4) Exhaust/Vent does not work well. When I was taking a shower and forgot to close the bathroom door, the steam from the bathroom made the alarm go off. GOOD EXPERIENCE: (1) Valet and shuttle service people are really nice and fast (2) The food at the restaurant is really good. We will definitely come back to this restaurant. Price is worth the taste and quality.

This hotel is close to LA and Getty Museum but the highway noise is LOUD. Bring earplugs.

Hi James, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the freeway noise. Due to our location we go above and beyond to eliminate any noise. We have double paned Windows to help with the noise, we understand if some guests are more sensitive to the noise and we can help by offering different rooms. We hope to see you again soon at Hotel Angeleno. Thanks,

Comfortable and close to UCLA Medical Ctr.

Posted Apr 10, 2018
Pros: The staff.
Cons: nothing.
Location: UCLA Medical Ctr is 5 minutes away.
We had stayed at the hospital for days and decided we needed to sleep. The staff was friendly and the hotel is beautiful. We got a last minute deal that was very affordable.

Noisiest room I every stayed in

Posted Apr 5, 2018
This is a beautiful hotel which unfortunately. Is right next to the 405 highway. I did not sleep all night. It was so loud, that it felt like the highway was going right through the room. When I asked for ear plugs at night, they told me that they unfortunately ran out of them. They have to install noiseproof windows and have ear plugs as standard in all rooms.
