Excellent location and extremely helpful staff

Concierge Hector and Rosie were both extremely helpful at organizing my family. Hotel location was perfect. Use Lyft for transportation instead of a taxi. So much cheaper.

Good location

Pros: Good quality and good services
Cons: Shower water need a major work over
Location: Closed to Beverly hills and Santa Monice
Good location for exploring greater Los Angeles. As always Intercontinental is consistent with their quality of property and service. I have stayed there many and always enjoy it except for the small water in the shower. I understand the hotel tries to conserve, but it takes much longer time for shower.....

Pros: View from the upper floors is magnificent. Facing the rising sun in the East was breathtaking when the fog rolled in. Staff are exceedingly helpful.
Cons: I had real concerns about privacy, very common for hotels inside the USA. A very quiet stay but hotel should clear the rooms to ensure guest privacy.
Location: The major studios for business meetings are in this neighborhood (consider L.A. traffic!). Tourists: the studio tours nearby make this location prime.
The rooms are perhaps the best I have ever come across in my lifetime of travel, pretty much nonstop since age 1 through 34. They are incredibly well-appointed. The staff are also incredibly polite, which I attribute to their being run by Chinese ownership and also their own character and values. For food and meetings, I would highly recommend going out into nearby Beverly Hills (e.g., around the Bulgari shop) for a true Hollywood experience. The view from the upper floors is magnificent. Floor 11 facing the rising sun in the East was breathtaking when the fog rolled in. Finally, if you are doing business at the major studios this is an excellent place to stay because of the location and comfort (or, if you are a family or individual going on the major studio tours, they are just around the corner, for example Universal Studios). Again, considering L.A. traffic is like a parking lot and very frustrating, stay nearby where you will be spending your time.

Nice location. The staff at the valet are very attentive and the check in frontdesk staff is very friendly. The hotel room is clean and a good size but a little outdated. I prefer shower gel but the hotel provide body soap only. It also doesn't provide Q tips and cotton balls. Bring your own. I would think for a 4 stars hotel and the price they charge, these will be available in the room. The other thing is the first few nights, we didn't get refills on our shampoo,... One night we got back to the hotel late and the shower had no hot water. We called concierge and they sent someone to fix it very quick. I'm also not a fan of the shower head in our room. One tips, make sure you join the IHG reward club to get free internet. If not, they will charge you.
