Historic Hotel, some problems

Pros: Architecture and Gardens are fabulous
Cons: Staff are fine but not as positive about making sure guests are happy. Biggest problem with hotel is noise from hall and can hear people in next room
Location: Perfect location for pasadena, san marino and south pas.
Great Historic Hotel experience with nice grounds. Noisy

Quiet luxury in Pasadena

Pros: Luxury, comfort.
The hotel is beautiful! Just driving up the long entry way feels special. The hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood with lovely homes and old Pasadena estates. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained and worth taking time to walk through. The beds are very comfortable and the in-room amenities are nice. (Including a shaving kit and toothbrush!) The hotel is not walk-friendly to things to do around Pasadena, so a car would be helpful. There are nice dining options right here. My favorite spot is on the patio of the bar taking in the view.

Pros: I loved the location of the hotel. Very beautiful.
Cons: I believe I have explained that in the first box.
Location: We ate at the cheesecake factory, Ihop, did a lot of shopping at the mall.
I was a little disappointed that we were advised the restaurant was booked. There was a young lady that said she would check to see if they could get us a table, There were empty tables everywhere yet it took the girl 30min to come and get us seated and we were placed at a table that was very small. My husband is 6'3 and I am 5'10. It was a little uncomfortable. Several tables were available which did not give us a positive first impression. It was only my husband and I, and we were advised of the hotel amenities prior to our arrival. We were the only African Americans and not saying that the intent was racial, however I could very well otherwise see someone mistaking this as the behavior displayed. We decided to drive to the other nearby restaurants in the neighborhood after this. The car hops were extremely helpful and so were the ladies at the front desk.

Even during shift changes when certain sections of the restaurant may remain unseated due to lack of staff service for that area, our policy is always to put our guests' needs first and find a place to accommodate without a long wait. I am of course very disappointed to hear that we fell short in this instance and will be addressing this with our restaurant hosts and staff right away to ensure this does not occur again. Beautiful quaint hotel resort

Stayed only 1 night here passing thru the area. Valet parking only. Nice view of the courtyard. Comfy and quiet.

Christmas at the Langham

If you love Europe but can't get away, stay at the Langham! We went to the Huntington Library all day, then spent the next day exploring Pasadena. The hotel is old and elegant and lovely at Christmastime-reminds me a little of a fancy Parisian hotel. Also High Tea will take you right back to London!
