There was remodeling going on the entire 8th floor (and on the 7th floor where we were staying)we felt like it was in our room itself because it was so loud, annoying, and lasted all day long. The ocean view rooms do have a lovely view, but they are also loud for a few reasons, even loud through closed glass sliding door. There is loudspeaker top40 music all day by the pool that is pretty dreadful if your e resting or working in your room. Then on weekends there is loud live music for patio guests. So if you're desiring a quiet stay, I'd suggest street view rooms! Also the king rooms have nice space. But the 2 queen rooms are very very tight. The beds are jammed in with 1 tiny shared night table that are so tightly packed it's difficult to open the one drawer. The mattresses are off center from their beds because it simply is too poorly designed in such a small space. In the King room you get 2 nite stands and a nice L shaped sofa. The double queen has a single chair no sofa. The showers have next to no water pressure, and the doors are glass and flimsy. The service was very good from CheckIn to bell desk to valet to housekeeping and room service. We didn't use the spa or restaurants this trip. The closet is on the small side, but the desk is nice and has great lighting for work.
