It's our 2nd time here and we decided this will now our go-to hotel whenever we are in LA. Clean, no nonsense and everything is within walking distance. The staff are always courteous.

This hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bakery, restaurant and bar in the hotel were all very good. Walkable neighborhood with tons of wonderful restaurants and shopping in the area. Had a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Love the big shower room with strong water current and the heated toilet seats! Water dispenser and snacks in the lobby with a cafe serving freshly baked japanese buns! Highly recommended!

The location can't be beat as its right in the heart of Little Tokyo if that's were you want to be, to do some shopping and be near the train station. It is clean, and dependable to be available around any time of the year. This is very walkable, convenient and has so many great Japanese dining options. The staff are helpful, not condescending and very professional. Great stay, I keep coming back.

I knew the area very well having lived in Los Angels for 25 years. But I’ve never been to the Miyako before. i chose it on Expedia afte carefully screening the guest reviews and the photos. It totally meet my expectations snd we had a delightful stay. The staff was kinfd and attentive and the room in perfect conditions. Highly recommend!

OK, a little mixed. Fitness center restricted.
A peaceful place to stay, nice rooms, but not a good choice if you need to get going early. For some reason they don't open the fitness center until 6 - why not have it open 24 hours? And the little cafe doesn't open until 7:30. Even on the 8th floor we got lots of noise from the street. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, some not so much.

Favorite LA accommodations
I love the Miyako and stay here almost every time i travel to LA. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, they often give me an early check in which is great because i usually arrive around noon. My only teeny tiny complaint is the hair dryer is from the 1990s and could probably use to be replaced. The little cafe in the lobby makes a fabulous matcha latte and they have little pastries shaped like teddy bear faces. What more could you possibly need?

The property was in an area that felt safe and was very clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Our stay was very short - to attend a wedding -- and wished we could have stayed longer. If our travels should bring us back to the DTLA area, the Miyako will definitely be a favorite to consider.
