Pros: Staff
I stayed here for 2 nights.......I had a newly renovated room so it was nice. Really comfy / homely environment....really friendly and helpful staff. I asked for a iron and they went out of their way to get me a brand new iron from the store....location lil far but hey can't beat the price!!!special thanx to Mr. Gordon!!!

Has a unique character to it.

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Personality
Cons: Nothing
Location: It was near the port of Long Beach that I haven't seen before. I guess It's what I like about it. Going places you've never been.
Last day in California and I found a place that was well on my budget by the LAX, and I met welcoming people there who offered a room to me unlike other Hotels and Inns. The room was nice, feels like your in a studio apartment, so it will always remind me of home.

I just can't stand it

Posted Dec 27, 2013
Pros: Staff is very friendly and accomodating
Cons: The security and safeness of every room
I know it's an historic hotel, but it was so terrible. The staff were very nice and accommodating, but when I saw the room i just completely flipped out. I didn't feel safe and also the smell of the old building made me sick. It was just something that I can't stand. (maybe it's just me) but also my husband agreed on me and after we paid everything , we saw the room and made a decision to just go to motel 6 after paying everything, we didn't get a refund from this hotel. It was okay. It just doesn't suit my preferences.

An ok place to flop for the night.

Posted Feb 25, 2013
This is an old hotel. If you need a cheap room to flop for the night and don't mind parking your vehicle on the street, then this place will work for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and I didn't have any trouble parking my vehicle on the street. If you're looking for a more upscale place, then you might want to spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. I would stay there again.

Good for anyone looking for cheap room

Posted Oct 3, 2012
Great place if you are looking for a cheap room with easy access to Long Beach and West LA. The hotel is located in the industrial area surrounding LA's port. Walking distance to grocery and convient stores. Rooms include kitchenette, there is no daily maid service, staff is friendly, dog friendly, no ac but has ceiling fans, wifi good for.checking e-mail but slow. I do not recommend staying here if you are looking for more than just a room. I recomend it to anyone who is looking for a cheap place to stay.
