Very friendly staff and clean rooms and hotel the breakfast could have been a little better but overall good hotel! I would stay there again.

Pros: The free breakfast was great. Covers protein / carb needs to start the day.
Cons: The back exit could be 24hr access with card. Right now it's only until 4:30.
Location: Great local restaurants and shops around the hotel. Walk a little further towards the ocean and you are in the heart of hermosa beach.
AWESOME! Don't want this hotel be be overcrowded for our next stay. The hotel was much better than I had expected. Clean, quiet (at night), comfortable with all amenities. It was a quick 10 min walk to Hermosa beach and had anything you would need within a 5 min walk. We stayed on the second floor farthest away from the ocean and don't think there is a view at the hotel that you can't see the ocean. Onsite parking was a bonus.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff!

Pros: Friendly staff, great parking.
Cons: The stairway area was partially outdoor and it was wet due to the high volume of rain A way to seal this off completely from rainfall would be great.
Location: We did not do anything in the immediate area.
My wife and I booked using Expedia. We were in the area earlier than we expected and the Quailty Inn and Suites allowed us to check in early and essentially spend the morning in our room (it was 9:30 or 10AM). We decided to check out early due to the weather being awful in LA. However, the Quality Inn staff was more than happy to accommodate our request for an early checkout.

The overall hotel is nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable. The free breakfast was really simple and did not have much variety.

Just reasonable considering the price

Pros: Its rooms are relatively spacious. Short walk to Hermosa Beach and 20 mins from LAX

My second time staying here. I returned because i enjoyed the location the first time. Just walk 10mins downhill to trendy Hermosa Beach. Of course, you'll need to walk back up the hill - it's not insignificant. Now, the hotel: Well, the good news is that the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. In room coffee perculator, fridge, breakfast and wifi. Caveat here - housekeeping neglected to remove the previous guests clothes from a drawer.... Drawbacks - bathrooms are tired, old and in need of refurbishments. They are showing signs of wear and tear. WiFi is sketchy, drops in and out. Breakfast is serviceabe.... only. Served in a small dinky room with an adjoining terrace. The selection is relatively poor and unappetising, but if you close your eyes and smile it does the job. My room smelled of old socks this time. And, for a non-smoking room, someone had definitely been smoking in there before. For what you pay - anywhere else in the world you would never return BUT it's LA, which is ridiculously expensive for what you get. My best advice.... Dont go to LA. Go somewhere better. Otherwise, stay here if you dont mind paying US$160 for a 2+ starhotel thats just reasonable. Its actually, crazy as it sounds, comparitively good value! Go figure.... Service is friendly.
