Gave us a place to stay during travel

Everything was ok. Staff was helpful but didn't seem like they wanted to. The room smelled clean, but under the beds and in some corners (particularly the shower) dust and dirt had accumulated. Breakfast was fine, typical quality inn. The rooms we detached from the main office. There was an awesome pizza place within walking distance though. Not sure I would stay there again but it got us by.

nice rooms, not enough parking

Pros: large rooms
Cons: Too few parking spaces in the evenings
Location: Seal Beach 15 minutes away
hot tub needs refinishing, Saturday nights there is not enough parking places. Breakfast is OK, sauage, scrmble eggs paddys , waffles.

Great value

Clean room, the area was decent, no real complaints here, quiet enough for me. The bed was comfortable, everything looked clean. All in all for the price it was just fine.

Horrible staff

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it was an okay experience for the price. However, my last visit will prevent me from going again and I will not recommend to a friend. I left my expensive work shirt in the room. I realized that the next day and called the hotel. The receptionist said they didn't find the shirt, which means that one of the maids stole it. I refuse to go to a business with dishonest staff.

Will Not Stay Again

The room was not cleaned properly. There was an empty pizza box and ants under the bed. I found this out because my sister was looking for something that was dropped and possibly rolled under the bed. Didn't find the item just the trash left behind by previous occupants!

Very clean, comfortable beds with extra pillows, friendly staff. Parking was sometimes difficult, too much furniture in the room made if feel a little cramped, not enough outlets for anyone who brings along electronics

Catalina Island pre-boarding night.

We stayed in room 203 above the office. On arrival there was an old couch outside the door against the wall. As night time came, three homeless males took up residency and talked and played music on their phones all night. We did not sleep! We spoke to the manager in the morning and he seemed unconcerned about out issue. We saw one of the employees go up to the couch while we were drinking our coffee but he did not say a word to these three men. It gave the impression this activity was condoned by the hotel. The parking lot was also over full with vehicles that were not staying at the hotel. Parking was tight and our car came away with two new dings from the cars parked next to us.
