Staff was friendly, called us later because we left an item in the hotel after checkout. Hotels don’t seem to call anymore and hope you leave items, IMO. Place and room was as expected.

They list things like coffee makers and hair dryers in amenities that they do not have. The shampoo was in a used vial that was dirty. It was overpriced, dirty, and uncomfortable. I am not even sure they offered breakfast but if they did I wouldnt eat it. If all you need is a bed and tv its acceptable.

This place is shabby, dirty and noisy. There are numerous people living there. It's a little scary. The front desk clerk was very nice, however. The best thing I can say is that there were no bedbugs.

The first room the heater didn’t work at all so they moved rooms and that heater kept flipping the breaker off it was cold all night I came home sick plus there were cigarettes burns in the linens and the floor was filthy

Old and Cheap but not necessarily worth it
This hotel is cheap for a reason. Decent sized rooms -they are just very old. The "breakfast" was just a waffle maker and I do believe there was coffee available but that was it. The girl at the front desk was nice. Our room appeared to be clean and we did not come home with any extra critters so that is a plus! We will not use this hotel again even if it is the cheapest.

Cleanliness was ok, but an older facility with condition issues. Toilet didn't flush properly. Area is used by semi-trucks as a rest stop. Their free "breakfast" shouldn't be an advertised feature.

I booked the property for the 29th to the first. I had reserved the property through Expedia. Not knowing my mom passed away December 28th at 4am. I contacted Expedia and all they did was copy and pasted Rodeway Inn's policy when they are supposed to support their customers, well that didn't happen. I checked my bank account the next morning to m make arrangements regarding my mom's passing and noticed that Rodeway Inn has charged my card. I contacted them and explained the situation to what has happened all they had to say was "sorry, you got charged for no show" and that they can't do anything about it. Customer service was extremely horrible, I will never recommend anyone to ever stay in the Rodeway Inn near Magic Mountain. Obviously their money matters more than what may their customers be going through. I have never had such horrible treatment with Expedia and Rodeway Inn. I will in my power stand up and fight for what is right. I never checked into their property and never again will I ever think about it.

Guy at check in was super nice. We got back to our room after dinner and there was a terrible high pitched squeal over and over. It turned out to be the pipes every time someone flushed a toilet or used the shower. It kept us up all night. Not pleasant at all when you’re trying to enjoy New Years Eve. Please get the pipes fixed.

Horrible place to stay unless you like drug dealers, prostitution, cockroaches on your walls, your car broken into ( They won’t show you the videotape of it.) Horrible Wi-Fi in which the tweeker next door is probably just hacking into your stuff anyways and dirty bed sheets then you might like it.
