I like it very muchPosted Oct 10, 2015
I have stayed in many hotels during business trip or personal, I checked review before I booked this one, and yes there was minor construction and renovation happening, but everything should be new now, new layout, new carpets, new tv, new mattress, the bed was so comfortable, i would definitely go back again, only one negative thing, buffet breakfast does not worth the money!!

便利Posted Sep 30, 2015

Newly Renovated!Posted Sep 21, 2015
The hotel is in the heart of downtown! Walk to the Staples Center, LA Live, Seven Grand and Library Bar. There's a Rite Aid and Walgreens on the corner for any necessities as well. The fitness center is on the 26th floor, overlooking the Los Angeles skyline. The hotel is still under renovation (as of Sept '15), but the parts that have been renovated are beautiful! I'd highly recommend.

Fantastic HotelPosted Sep 16, 2015
Close to so much in Downtown LA! Conveniently close to the Metro as well. The only downside is that the hotel was under construction so the wait for the elevator could sometimes take a bit. However they'd take us up to our floor with the staff elevator so all in all the wait was never too long. I'd definitely stay here again. Hopefully, after the construction is complete.

Bedbug warning!Posted Sep 2, 2015
Yes. I came home with un-invited friends. I loved staying in the very well renovated room until i found out bedbug bites on my leg. I brought my own pillow to the hotel because i can't sleep without memory foam pillow. After came back home, i threw it onto my bed, fell asleep with my leg on it, and found bedbug bites on my leg. My home had never had any insect problem before and last time I slept other than my home was 2 yeara ago. I threw away the pillow and running washer and drier for any suspicious clothes and linens, and i hope this works.

Great location...but still under construction.Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: Location, room cleanliness, comfortable beds, courteous staff.
Cons: The bedsheets were incredibly stiff. They actually made noise every time we turned over or moved. Maybe because they were new?
Location: L.A. Live a few blocks away. Peking Tavern Asian food, drinks. Louise Brassier breakfast. Barrel Down beer, people watching. Dancing nearby.
The renovations to the hotel lobby are beautiful. The location is excellent to the surrounding downtown area. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was fully remodeled and immaculate. I am a stickler for hotel cleanliness and our room was a 10. Elevators were a problem with the ongoing construction, oftentimes causing us to wait in a line for use, but not as bad as we anticipated (5 minute waits). Parking at the hotel was an issue since there is only valet available and the driveway for drop off does not accommodate many cars. We had to circle the block so we were not blocking traffic with our vehicle while waiting. Other than the parking and slight waits for the elevator, our stay was great. Would love to return when construction is complete and explore more of downtown. Lots of great eateries like the Peking Tavern for dinner & drinks, and Louis Brasserie for breakfast. Would stay here again for sure.
