Staff was welcoming, very friendly, and accommodating. From valet, to desk, to housekeeping...we feel that we were well taken care of during our stay. Food at restaurant was also high quality and enjoyable.

Great location, easy access to airport and LA

Pros: Location & retro vibe
Cons: Carpeting is a bit worn and dirty.
Location: Mall across street, nice walk into beach area, many shops and restaurants here.
Great location, 30 minute walk to beach & pier area. Great shops, restaurants nearby. Cool retro vibe in this hotel. Great pool and patio area. Breakfast buffet was fantastic.

Disappointing experience

When I arrived I found out that I had been "walked" to another hotel near by. Was told that Expedia overbooked. I reserved this room in January of 2017. The next day I was given a room close to the lobby at the Belamar. Very noisy,unable to sleep due to the noise. According to the other hotel,hotel Hermosa, this is an occurance that happens often witj the Belamar. I will not recommend this hotel and I am disappointed with Expedia as well.

Location, Location, Location

Pros: The hole vibe of the place.
Cons: Little dated. Carpet in restaurant really nice to be replaced.
Location: Near best beaches, fin.e dining and best beaches. And yes I repeated myself
This hotel has been around for years. Never stayed there so decided to give it try. Mid-modern look was classy. Kept waiting for Sinatra to show up.

Lovely hotel!

A lovely hotel! Hotel staff all very friendly! Rooms very nice! Beds so comfortable! Swimming pool and patio all wonderfully relaxing areas! Restaurant in the hotel serves wonderful food with excellent service! Situated a leisurely 20-30 minute walk from the beach! I would definitely stay there again and refer all friends and family!

Good location , friendly staff

Pros: Location to Manhattan Beach, Friendly Staff
Cons: More choice at Breakfast, Fresh room decor
Location: Beach, Restaurants. Bars, Running/biking on beach promenade
I have been staying at this hotel for business and please with the family over the last 6 years. It has an excellent location close (short Uber or walk/run) from the beach and restaurants. Although i really like the place and the staff are always friendly and helpfull i have noticed that the place is begining to look like it needs a freshen up. There is a new owner/Management company and have noticed cost cutting in little things like the breakfast . Still a good hotel and would recommend a stay here

Good hotel.

Nice hotel. Friendly stuff. Good breakfast buffet (extra charge) Peeves --- extra charge for parking; fitness center opens at 10 am which was too late for us to be able to use it.

Friendly staff, good location, they do charge for parking. Room had a bit of a musty smell.
