stay for the locationPosted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: location Lovely restaurant. Coffee, muffins available. Charming facade Amenable staff. Lutron lighting, interesting stacked books as room decor
Cons: see above
Location: heart of Beverly Hills - Annenberg, Rodeo, Farmers Market, parks. Location, location, location.
The front staff is very nice. I objected to their taking my credit card and adding a daily charge in advance just in case I charged anything. This is deleted at the end of the stay but staff insisted that it was a requirement. I felt the room design was not female friendly. By this, I mean not enough space in the bathroom (very small shower) for cosmetics placement; no good mirror although there is a blank wall next to the sink which could easily accommodate a mirror; small modern square sink that causes water to splash all over what little counter there is, almost unreachably high bar for hanging clothing (5 hangers), unresponsive room temperature controls.

central to beverly hills - taxi fares though could be excessive for other sites

Not so greatPosted Jul 2, 2015
The hotel is clean but very very tiny. The night staff are rude and I stayed there for one night and they held over $2000 on my credit card for some reason and I still have no idea what I actually paid because they charge for keys and parking then refund some, I'm very confused. Oh yeah they only have valet parking that is $28 a day. The beds are delicious though. I don't recommend it.

Rooms are small but nice, parking with valet always is super stupid, it is 20 feet away!!

Too much garish makeup on an old ladyPosted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: Location and short notice availability.
Cons: Knock down some walls to enlarge rooms and then redecorate in a way that respects the building.
Location: Well located in the heart of Beverly Hills.
A generally friendly staff trying hard to make a "go" of it with a refurbished hotel. Rooms are very small - bathroom was even smaller. When seated in the bathroom my knees were touching the sink! The room didn't even have a chair - there wasn't any room for one.

Worst hotel in BHPosted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is very poor, with dark 1960s style rooms. It is more like a roadside motel than a hotel

Excellent location, shame about the rooms!Posted Jun 24, 2015 on Hotels
The queen bed room was dark. The drapes gave the room a dingy feeling. The towels were worn and threaded. The aircon could not be controlled. We had an icy night there. Luckily we were upgraded after the first night's disappointment to a kings bed room which was airy and a much more pleasant. However, the aircon didn't work at all. Not good for LA weather. We had to sleep with open windows into the main road with all the traffic. The best part of the stay was its location.

Very, very helpful and kind staff! The location is perfect, only a couple of minutes from Rodeo Drive and a bunch of top notch restaurants.
