Noisy and Naked

Room faced the pool ,noisy all day and night til 2 am . Woke up to two people talking on my patio (2nd floor ) to a man and women talking. I think they must of got access from the next door room. He was fully clothed she on the other hand was completely naked. They had a very loud conversation for 15 mins. Like acted like nobody was sleeping at 8:00 am Called the front desk

Beautiful but keep all items close to you

Pros: Great shower! Nicely appointed and convenient location in the middle of the Hollywood action.
Cons: Valet parking security
Location: Location is perfect for sight-seeing, the stars, dining, souvenir shopping
Beautiful hotel and excellent location - we did run in to a situation where we had an item stolen out of our car, presumably by the valet. They are still "investigating the situation" three days later. They did ultimately comp us for three nights parking and wifi.

Nice hotel. central located

Pros: near everything that you want to see in Hollywood within walking destine
Cons: Bathroom shower door. when one show only one side of the door is close the other side is open the water is over the room after one showers
Location: every thing you can think about to do and see in Hollywood is near by.
Having a nice time of staying. the restraint food is good. Service is good.

Best location for, Walk of fame, Eating out,shopping, Chinese and Dolby Theatre, Plenty of tours available right outside including Hop On Hop Off bus service. polite pleasant staff. Very clean and tidy rooms overall excellent all round.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

The place is very tired. Rooms are worn out, unattractive and tacky. Management doesn't know whether the hotel should be a wedding venue or hotel. When we were there, they cut off all access to the main level, restaurant and bar due to a wedding. We were essentially trapped in our room and the amenities we came for were not available. Been staying at The Roosevelt for 30 years. It's been getting worse with each stay. This time was the last straw. We won't be back and advise others to stay away. Much better accommodations in the area.

Over priced and nothing special, great location for hollywood, i guess thats what your paying for, the staff were less than helpful..

Nice hotel in the heart of Hollywood.

Pros: Could walk to sights and staff was very friendly.
Cons: Coffee maker in the room. Not everyone wants room service. I asked for a receipt to be emailed, and have yet to receive it.
Location: Can walk outside the front door and the Hollywood walk of fame is right there. Many tour companies available. Mall nearby.
First time in LA, mixing a little business with pleasure, so opted to stay in Hollywood. Hotel was nice, but pricey and was shocked that there was no coffee maker in the room. Rooms are comfortable and the entire hotel is unique. Would have liked to see a couple of the bars - just peek inside to view, but they had dress codes, which were not noted on any of the information in our room. Hotel staff were very knowledgeable about the area.

Happy to get this to you if you can just call our hotel and provide us with the best email address. All of our bars are open to the public, The Spare Room does have a dress code. Our staff take great pride in our history and location so I am glad you got to feel that first hand. We do hope you come back for a 2nd visit and when you do please ask for the Guest Relations team- we will make sure to have a coffee maker placed in your room.

Swank classic Hollywood hotel close to the action!

This hotel is an iconic hotel located right on Hollywood blvd. There is a ton to do in walking distance or short Uber ride. Both times I've stayed here the pool staff was both rude and beyond slow. Don't expect your food order to be right or for them ever to check on you. On a Monday, three surrounding tables were complaining about service or food orders being wrong. Two tables had everyone else finish their food before the "fixed" entree came out. You'll love the actual room, housekeeping and room service is great.

Old School Hollywood

You can't beat the old school Hollywood experience of the Roosevelt. Just enough modern touches with a big nod to its history. The staff is what makes it even better.
