I would describe this property as a boutique motel that is cozy, convenient and clean. Notably, it offers free parking (which is a plus for Burbank) along with a continental breakfast during your stay. If your interest is intimacy, individuality and walk ability, I would recommend this property.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Despite this establishment being an old motel that has been renovated; the water pressure was excellent; the air conditioning worked extremely well; the rooms are clean and quiet; the beds are very comfortable (I have an extremely bad neck and back); I love that there is no carpet in the rooms; the location is within 15 minutes of most entertainment and waking distance to extremely tasty coffee shops and eateries. I will definitely be returning.

Great safe and quiet location located near restaurants and walking distance to Warner Brother Studios. Small property with daily pastries and ongoing free hot drinks available. Helpful and friendly staff.

The staff were absolutely wonderful but the property itself is a poorly revamped motel 6. Our rooms smelled like urine. For almost $300 per night I accepted something a little nicer.

Really lovely motel style with lovely, helpful staff. Free breakfast is delicious pastries which are regularly replenished. Vibrant area with lots of great dining options nearby. Feels safe and parking availability is good

We would stay here again. The staff really is wonderful without exception. The rooms are comfortable and I slept as well here as any hotel I can remember. The coffee machine in the lobby makes really good coffee. The morning pastries are a nice touch, though I wouldn't count on that for breakfast. Good neighborhood restaurants as well.

Loved this hotel! If you’re looking to go to universal studios, stay at this hotel. About a 10 minute drive and the parking at this place was easy to find and access. The pool was being worked on during our stay but it didn’t affect our stay in any negative way.

The Tangerine was in a great neighborhood. Walkable to great dining options and close to all LA has to offer. The staff was so friendly and our room was incredibly clean!

Great look, great location for both the immediate area and travel to other parts of the city. Room was clean and comfy, if a little cramped (spacious for LA area though!) overall. Staff was friendly & helpful, check in and check out are quick. Rooms are quiet, but some signs of aging on some wood fixtures were noted, and some of the furniture needs updating.

The staff was so nice. Had great pastries in the morning. Allowed us both early check in and late check out. Super appreciated. Only downside was the pool was closed and we didn’t know in advance.

This is an up and coming hot property. They are redoing the pool, the rooms have all been redone, and it has a great vibe. We stayed one night, wish it could have been more. The host was fantastic, offered great suggestions, and is obviously working hard to improve this place. It is clean, rooms are well decorated, the TV, lighting, coffee maker, refrigerator, and bath are clean, nearly new, and nicely done. Even the room heater is quiet. There is coffee available in the office 24/7, as well as in the room. They provide a wonderful roll selection for breakfast. The only reason I dinged the property conditions down to Good is because they are redoing the pool. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at The Tangerine - A Burbank Hotel. Staff very helpfull and nice. We were visiting Warner Bros. Studios and got there in about 10 minutes walk. Sad it was just for 1 night!

The Tangerine is an older motel that is kept in good condition. It is well located in downtown Burbank. The sheets were changed daily and were pressed. The towels were in excellent condition and good quality. Our bathroom had a crack in the ceiling from a leak in the unit above but was otherwise cleaned very well daily. Hot drinks and pastries are offered in the morning. The pastries are made by a local charitable group, a noble gesture but are not very not very good. With Porto's bakery close by we chose to skip the Tangerine offerings. There is a very good Mexican restaurant next store for lunch or dinner. We would stay at the Tangerine again as it is close to where we regularly visit.

Fun idea for a hotel in a very walkable neighborhood. Loved the Mexican restaurant nextdoor and Hank’s Bagels down the street. The staff were great. And I’m sure the hotel was great, but it’s showing wear and tear at this point.

Used this as our base for WB and Universal for two nights, surprisingly quiet at night, nice bright rooms, left message to see if we needed anything, guided us back to hotel when I got lost walking. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

Nice hotel, a little outdated and small bathroom, but the area is nice, lot's of food choices around. 5 minute walk to Warner Brothers and 10 minute drive to Universal and 30 minute drive to Griffith observatory. I would stay at this hotel again.

My 12 year old and I had a fun stay here. She loved the 85 degree F pool. Sure, you can hear the main street the motel is off of, but only outside, not inside. Breakfast is light but tea and other hot drinks are available 24/7, and there are plenty of places to eat in the area. We took the local buses from the BUR airport to the hotel and to Universal Studios. Location nearest to Warner Brothers.
