Amazing location, the facility is old but good.

Posted Nov 12, 2016
The location cannot be any better - it's right on the beach an in the center of Venice highlights! The hotel itself is quite old, and could use a fresh coat of paint (in particular, for the bathroom), but it is well maintained, so no problems here. I wish the place had its own parking, but there is a public parking in a close proximity, and it's fairly inexpensive.

What a nice staff! Beautiful renovated room!

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Pros: Location, view, staff
Cons: The complimentary bottle of water could be given for every night booked there, not only the first day.
I was very happy staying here. The management is super flexible, and if the room is not booked for the next day, they will give you a late check-out with no extra charge. They helped us with everything we asked for. They have all the stuff you need to go to the beach (chairs, umbrellas, balls, toys), so, don't worry. The room is beautiful and comfortable, although the restroom is a little bit small.

Great Location, Great Value, Hidden Gem

Posted Sep 13, 2016
We loved our stay at this hotel. It is quaint, charming, historic, unique, and located right on the boardwalk - perfect if you want the true Venice Beach experience. They have a nice rooftop happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays, and the staff is warm and accommodating.

Perfect Base to Explore Venice Beach and Surrounds

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, light airy rooms with good facilities.
Venice beach is probably the best thing about LA and the Venice Beach Suites puts you right in the heart of the action. This historic building has refurbished rooms that are light and airy, with all the facilities you need for a comfortable beach stay. Step out the front door for all the fun and colour of the Venice beach traders and buskers. The Hotel provides beach towels, umbrellas and chairs so you can walk across the road to the beach and take a swim or relax in comfort. Halfway between Santa Monica and Marina Del Ray, take a healthy walk or a quick bus ride to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall feel is very relaxed. You do get a bit of noise form the street in your room but that can't be helped in a place like Venice and you get used to it.

Perfect location, if you want to be right into the mix of Venice! Being an older hotel, it was very well maintained and very bright. Staff were all excellent. The roof top was completely updated and the view is amazing.

This hotel is in a great location! Venice Beach, Muscle Beach and Santa Monica are all easily accessible. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge but that will not stop us from visiting again!

great location right on the boardwalk/beach

Posted Apr 21, 2016
Pros: the small kitchen is a plus. great rooftop
Location: this part of Venice beach is quite at night but very busy during the day. Rent a bike and enjoy a ride on the beach.
Parking is challenging, otherwise all good. Venice beach is still different, kind off funky.

Danielle in the front office was awesome! She was welcoming and provided information about local restaurants and shopping. Our room was very clean, and every amenity provided. We felt like the staff really appreciated their customers.

Nice Hotel on Board Walk

Posted Feb 15, 2016
Cons: Better driving direction to the hotel.
The location of this hotel is at the boardwalk and therefore inaccessible by car. You need to find this hotel at the rear entrance on Speedway. The office is super friendly and they will help you to find a parking space 2 blocks away at $15 a day.

Funky Hotel on the Boardwalk

Posted Dec 4, 2015
Great location with a cool vibe and great staff! The roof top lounge is a must hangout. The 103 year elevator even has a name and she works! Love the history and the area.
