The staff was very welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the shopping mall near by was a plus. Our kids took the the red line to Universal Studios which was very quick and convenient less stress and Hassel from the traffic driving. Will stay again. Thank you, Robin & Kiyome Phillips

Sounds from the boulivard.Posted Jun 1, 2015 on Hotels
On checking in my wife and I were advised the main dining room had been closed two years earlier and was now only available for buffet breakfast. We had selected the Marriot on the assumption it was a full service hotel. At dinner our options were limited to the bar, a very nicely appointed patio, or leaving the property. We chose the patio only to find the sounds from the nearby boulevard didn't lend itself to a quiet evening for two.

Pros: convenience , not the people I deal with.
Cons: reshape your customer service level
Location: near woodland hills westfield shopping center with good exposure of dining and shopping experience
suppose there is a hotel sales rep we deal with , as travel arranger who usually made hotel reservation for my high level executives to this hotel frequently, i honestly was not impress with their service for us. i don't see any customer service effort forward from this rep.

Started out Rocky but Was A Gem of A StayPosted May 28, 2015 on Hotels
It all started out well. I booked online for a room with two (2) double beds as it was the four of us staying there. Got there and they only had a king size bed. Well that wasn't going to work with the wife and two (2) kids. They ended up putting us in a room that had the carpets cleaned that day and warned the floor may be a little damp. We were okay with that but when we opened the door.......weeeeeww, what a smell. That wasn't going to work so they upgraded us to a suite. It was a fabulous stay.

The stay was "OK"Posted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
We booked a room for our family with 2 beds. When we arrived, we were told there was only a room with 1 bed. After going back and forth, the staff found a room for our family. They were not very understanding about the situation. Our card was charged an additional $300.00 and we were told it would be returned within 2-3 business days.

Good stay. A few issues.Posted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2015. The hotel is in a great location. The room coffee maker was not good and made terrible coffee, although there is a Starbucks in the lobby. There was no safe in the room and drawer space for clothes was limited. The breakfast buffet was good, but not outstanding. I would stay here again because overall it's good to very good.
