Nice hotel close to lax .

I had a last minute booking due to flight and baggage delays at Lax. The hotel is nearby and had a convenient shuttle service that picked me up on very short notice at 1.15 am and delivered me to the hotel after a very long day of travel misadventures. The next morning early another shuttle to the airport. The staff was helpful and courteous. A happy ending.

We thought the hotel good value for money and well located. Close to a local bird reserve, and good local restaurants, not to mention the airport.

Airport shuttle is great, but not as regular as some airport hotels. Attached to a grocery store & close to eating establishments, bars and a gym.

Nice hotel close to the Airport

My stay was nice and disappointing. My bed had blood stains i had to get my room changed . Then my next room the shower was terrible the water leaked and the walls had cracks and the shower was pealing. Also the room air conditioner did not work . it was only blowing out heat . the room reached 85 degrees i had to open the window and door while i was trying to nap before work in my hotel . Great location , the staff was nice especially the manager but these issues are no good . I wish didn’t spend almost 500$ for an unsuccessful stay. I’m always in California and i don’t have these problems

Other than the airport shuttle there is nothing much in this hotel. Old building with not so comfortable room.

Brutal

Location: Nothing. It's in the middle of a bland section of LA with nothing nearby worthy of mentioning.
First off, the shuttle process is ridiculous - it runs every 45 minutes. Upon arrival at LAX you're supposed to collect your bags and then call them to ask for the shuttle. Don't do that - go ahead and tell them you have your bags - by the time the shuttle finally arrives you'll have them. The other option is a $20 cab ride (min fare) to go about 1.5 miles. The lobby is like a cafeteria - without the cafe. The lighting is so bad everything looks dirty, even if it isn't. If we had an option in the moment we opened our room door I would have bailed in a nanosecond. The lighting was dim and institutional, furniture was sparse - no chair or couch - just a large rectangular, dirty ottoman that was supposed to suffice. The bathroom fixtures were tired looking and worn - the bathtub had scratches in it. The final straw was an incredibly uncomfortable and noisy bed - you couldn't move without it creaking loudly. Honestly, I don't know how this hotel could possibly have 3.2 rating out of 5.

If your going to pay close to $100 pay extra $30 and stay somewhere nice

Pros: lobby looked hip
Cons: Whole room needs tearing out and re doing
Location: gym and subway next door
Old hotel, small room uncomfortable, small beds, small bathroom with old tub/fixtures/floor

5 min cab ride from LAX

Pros: Friendly staff.
Location: Close to LAX, LA Fitness next door, Ralphs a minute walk away.
Ideal spot for a short stay when you need good access to LAX. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made everything hassle free. Basic large room, futon style bed, plenty of space. The restaurant served good quality food.

Its Okay

I couldn't get the heat unit in my room to work. I placed a call to the front desk and they sent up a tech who performed work on the heating system. I was told it's working to find out 30 minutes later that it was still not working. I called the front desk to have the technician to return but he had left for tbe night. The front desk sent me some blankets to get me thru the night.
