Best spot on the beach

Cons: I think the adults only pool should have a pool bar to escape the kids in the main pool.
The room was large with a kitchenette, couch, TV and large bathroom. The staff were super friendly at the beach as well as the pool bar. Great location and facilities.

Very close to everything would stay again

I liked that it was near everything and rooms where clean and everyone was friendly but one thing I did not like and everyone should be aware of is they where way to strict on who passes through there I had to verify my whole party a bunch of times they even took me in the office and made me show Id to prove I was staying there on my 4 th Day i've been there ? And I had a wedding party stay there since my wedding was Saturday and they where very strict on the whole visitor hours my brother is from another country and who I haven't seen in a year and they made a big deal about him visiting my room it made me so angry. For as much as you pay it seemed like a bummer but everything else was great loved the pool and food there also

Nice hotel, close to the beach, and restaurants.

Pros: On the beach, close to numerous restaurants and bars, as well as the ocean view.
Cons: Offer more amenities to customers. Have a more understanding manager, when a customer has valid complaints about a room upgrade.
Location: Numerous restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. Lots of offers for activities during your stay.
Initial room was small and located next to a very busy and loud street corner. Upon informing front desk of the issues of the room, and asking for a room upgrade, staff (and management) would not allow any sort of discount, despite the fact that our family group reserved 4 rooms from the hotel. Another issue I had with the hotel was that the hotel charged for in-room coffee packets. Many less expensive hotels offer more amenities than the Cabo Villa Resort.

Great location, right by the beach, room was good, food was ok, but not great, staff was great, manager was not. I would stay there again. They do need to train the Manager on how to talk to customers!

Cabo Villas

Pros: Close access to marina and downtown. Nice views. Good service at pool bars. 3 pools are all very small, but there was still plenty of seating.
Cons: Check in was disorganized and staff are unprofessional. The aggressive sales people are definitely a negative for this place. Lobby area is rundown.
Location: Several bars and restaurants along the beach and within walking distance. Jet ski rental, parasailing, fishing, etc.
Beware of the aggressive sales people. You are practically forced at check in to sign up for the 90 minute timeshare presentation and when you refuse to purchase, you will be treated rudely. We saw this in the reviews on multiple websites, but the price was right and we wanted to try a hotel near the marina area. Rooms are OK, the views are nice. Two for one drinks at the pool bars. Wait staff at the pool bars are great and friendly. Service at the On-site restaurants was not as good. Food is decent but nothing exceptional. There is a mini-mart on-site that sells groceries and snacks which was convenient. This is not a luxury resort. I've seen larger and more elaborate pool areas at Holiday Inn.

Expect constant timeshare presentation offers daily from all hotels, shops and at airport. If you stay here request newer building as we were placed in older one which had several issues. We had no hot water in shower which was fine for adults since it was so hot out but kids complained a lot. We had a broken shutter that divided bedroom from living room so we couldn't close it for privacy. We also had two separate leaks we had to report in restroom ceiling due to a/c condensation.

Over-priced mediocre hotel

Cons: Staff, grounds.
We stayed here for the two bedroom suites they had. The stay started off with an obnoxious sales pitch trying to get us to buy activities and future stays. What at first seemed like a friendly "here's what there is to do" quickly devolved into an aggressive sales pitch. The room was OK, with a few weird oddities. The bathroom was connected to the bedroom with no door, which was pretty awkward. The grounds were OK, though felt sort of cheap and unpolished. Things like the infinity pool facing away from the beach, towards other rooms just made the whole place feed poorly thought out. Given how expensive it was, I expected much better.

Nice hotel on beach.

Cons: Stop with the timeshare at every turn
Location: Beach, restaurants, water activity
I like that it has an adult pool as main pool gets so crowded. I do not like that upon check in I always get hammered for a presentation. I bought and paid for my timeshare, I do not want anymore and I don't want a presentation, free gifts, an upgrade, I just want to use what I already PAID for. No should mean no.

A convenient and quiet oasis

Cabo Villas is like a little oasis amid the noisier surrounding spots. I went down to Cabo San Lucas for my brother's wedding and this place was definitely the right choice. Both the Dorado, next door where my brother stayed, and the Bahia across the street were significantly noisier (although fun). For the price, my room was more spacious than my brother's at the Dorado. The Baja Brewery on the roof is nice and has great beer and the best view around. The staff were very helpful and always cheery. I would definitely stay here again on the next trip.

Perfect Family Vacation!!

This was the perfect location for an adult, family vacation. We were in the middle of everything; great beach, walking distance to the marina, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. This hotel may not be the best for families with young children as the pools are pretty basic, no slides, waterfalls etc.

Although we do not have slides or waterfalls in our pools, Cabo Villas does feature three pools, allowing members and guests the option of going to the pool of their liking; the infinity pool is the most popular, our "peanut pool" located by the Pool Grill, or our adults only pool on the west side of the property.
