Great Hotel. Beautiful location.

Pros: Location
Cons: Staff need to be more friendly. Arguing with customers over $15 unsigned bill which was paid cash is not very professional.
Location: This hotel is one of the best of Cabo. Best location. walking distance to marina and best restaurants around the corners.
This is the only hotel i would stay in if I ever go back to Cabo San Lucas.

Location: Casa Dorada is only about a 7 minute walk into town for more restaurants, shopping or a stroll around the marina!
Consistency is the key to Casa Dorada's appeal. From the minute you enter the lobby to the personnel throughout the property, everyone greets you with a smile and they bend over backward to make your stay special and memorable. We have been coming back multiple times per year for over 8 years and highly recommend this hotel to everyone-whether it's a family vacation or a romantic getaway!

Nice hotel and location

We had a decent experience with the hotel until our departure. We scheduled for a shuttle ride pick up for 11:25am. We arrived at the front lobby at 11:22am and was told that our shuttle had already left because they arrived earlier than scheduled and have been waiting. However, we did not receive a call from the front desk telling us the shuttle arrived until we were leaving our room. I heard the phone ringing twice as we were walking out. When I ran over to pick up the phone, they hung up. After some confusion and calling the shuttle service and still no shuttle. We were forced to have the hotel call for a taxi. The shuttle manager told us on the phone that hotels often won't contact us on purpose when our shuttle arrives so we can miss it and take the taxi. He also informed us that his driver was told by the front desk that they spoke to us and that we that we told them we already have transportation to the airport and no longer needed the shuttle service. The lobby host, Francisco was extra nervous as he fumbled to "try" to help us with the situation. We ended up with a horrible, money hungry taxi driver that took us to the airport. He was rather hostile and rude after he realized we were a little short on cash to pay him. Which we paid him after taking money out from exchange. Also, check your final bill from the room. There were a few extra charges daily to our room for donantion to disable children. Not a big deal but was not informed

Best location

Pros: I love that this hotel is right on Medano Beach. Many restaurants so close. We rarely left the little area.
Cons: Signs all over saying it is strictly prohibited to reserve chairs by the pool. But by 9 am most of the lounge chairs were all reserved with towels.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Will go above and beyond if you ask.

Great hotel on the beach

Everything was great, loved the location and staff. Pricey but very well kept. Service could have been better at the beach, asked for Ice and server forgot, finally caught the eye of another server and he brought it. Other than that, no complaints.

Other than no water in whole hotel for 5 hours, experience was good. Too much of a push to buy ownership. Food was good, location very good.

Perfect location

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast was good but we felt a little over priced.
Location: Location was perfect for us . Right on the beach .
This was the perfect place for a weekend get away for my husband and I . We could walk to town in 5 minutes. The location was awesome . Restaurants from fine dinning to taco stands were right there . The staff was very polite and helpful . Our room was always nice and clean. We mainly sat at the beach and the gate staff, life guard, and waiters were all so nice and professional. I would highly recommend Casa Dorado .

Great pool

Lovely hotel but not really directly on beach as you have to go down steps and out a gate. Also the mango bar is in front of hotel and has very loud music all day and into the night. The hotel it's self is beautiful and the pools and restaurants are excellent. Rooms are very nice as well. Staff is super nice and grounds are beautiful.
