I booked a gateway at Esperanza, Auberge Resort in Cabo in July. The property and the rooms are beautiful and most of the staff was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. There were a few issues that we experienced which are worth noting. - During our last night while having dinner I was stung by a wasp. Security came and was very professional and treated the bite. However, the restaurant staff did not seem at all concerned about this. The waiter's only comment while I was in pain from the bite was "at least now you know you are not allergic to wasps". After that the waiter and restaurant manager were nowhere to be found. They did not check on us once (after security came by) to see if everything was good or if we needed anything. In fact I had to get up from our table to find someone to sign for my check before we could leave to go back to our room. That was very disappointing. - While they offer free wi-fi, the connection is not secure at all. Furthermore, the connection was very unreliable and there was no signal in many parts of the hotel. - The TV did screen cast as it was supposed to do. It took a lot of trial and error to get it to work. - All the restaurants are outside. There was no inside place to sit and eat that had AC (except for your room). - There are 3-4 restaurants but the food choices were not that great in my opinion. I am not sure if I would go back to this resort again.

The property sits on over 17 acres. Long walks to get to /from other rooms, restaurants. There are golf carts, but you have to wait (up to 20 minutes)

Fabulous Time
Wonderful stay. Our host Sebastian was amazing helping us optimize our short trip. We are at all the restaurants and they were tasty. Beautiful scenery and great main adults only pool right on the shoreline.

Beautiful location with an amazing view. The food was great, and the outside of the main restaurant staff was friendly. With that being said, it wasn't worth the cost. The rooms were not luxurious enough, and hot tub water from rooms above spill over onto your patios below. After the initial treating the wash their hands of you.

Beautiful location, private and relaxing. Wonderful staff from start to finish and in every area. The spa had fantastic massages and the drivers everywhere we went were amazing. Einar at the pool went above and beyond for us, as well as Juan with our transportation needs! Karim the concierge checked on everyday and helped make our time at Esperanza unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back someday!

Exceptional service. Room fabulous. Great views. Only negatives were wonky WiFi and three weekend nighttime weddings with loud music which meant hardb too use our porch casita spa those nights. Otherwise perfect.

This resort is beyond amazing. The view in our casita was absolutely outstanding. Alicia was so accommodating with our every need. Pool and spa are gorgeous. The entire property is so clean and landscape is beautiful. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. The only issue we had was at the pool we were constantly trying to get someone to take our order for drinks and food - even just getting a towel we had to ask a few times.

The entire staff was top notch. Service levels were the best we've seen anywhere in Cabo. We were made to feel welcomed immediately, room and property were spotless, food and dining were incredible, and the views were better than the pictures can show. Top shelf experience from A to Z. This was our second time staying at the Esperanza and our third at an Auberge property and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff treat you as if you’re the most important guest at the property and truly want your stay with them to be 5 star! We will always be customers of the Esperanza and are already planning for our trip back next year!
