My first all inclusive experience

Staff was super friendly though a lot more limited with their English than I expected. Resort is beautiful, gym was decent, food was nothing to write home about, my mini bar never got restocked after the first day, no room service menus though presumably your room service is included, never got info on what restaurants were available there, where they were, or how the all inclusive part worked. No hotel info in room either. If it wasn't for other guests sharing info I wouldn't know what my stay included. Timeshare people kept calling my room throughout the day, not sure why as I paid full price to stay there. Premium liquor/food was extra though you don't see info on this anywhere. Overall, for my first trip to Cabo I was satisfied. I would give 8/10 stars just based on beauty of resort and such great employees.

So far away!

Most of the rooms were a good 10 to 15 minute walk from the pool and beach. Our room had broken a shower curtain, a broken window curtain and broken closer door. Our AC vent in the shower was moldy and the shower took at least 5 minutes to get warm. But the guacamole there way delicious! (:

Been twice, love it!

Pros: Love the service, it is above average clean and the golf course is great. Expensive but great
Cons: Live music at night
Location: Didn't leave the resort.....
My wife and I have been twice and are ready to go again. Next time we will take our kids because we realized they have some great events for our daughters. We love this resort.

Grounds are beautiful the rest is 3 star at best

Definitely not a 4 1/2 star hotel. While the grounds are great, the mini suite was very outdated. Cleanliness was not their forte and we had to call them several time so they could clean again. Also TVs were not clear. Shower heads not working properly as I could not even rinse my hair properly. So many issues that I do not expect in a 4 1/2 star hotel. In terms of food, not much variety when you stay for a week and far from being great. Ok at best. Again if not for the grounds and the fact that the hotel in beachfront, I would have thought it is a 3 star hotel. Also do not expect to swim on the beach... And forget about walking on the beach as well. Sand is pretty rocky.

Great bars, great food. A couple times the water in the shower was lukewarm at best but that was our only issue in 5 days

Fantastic Place to Honeymoon!

My wife and I were familiar with the Fiesta Grand Americana brand since we had both been to the one in Cancun before and simply loved it . However, we were still not sure up how the one in Cabo would compare to the one in Cancun. We Were Blown Away! Hands down this was one of the best vacations we have ever had! It exceeded all of our expectations from the food, the beautiful accommodations, customer service and oceanside golf. The wide variety of restaurants on-site were all excellent! All of the swimming pools were terrific as well as the saunas. The spa treatments that my wife and I both had which really relaxing... Top notch! We are planning all ready to go back as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this Resort.

Pros: The food is great for an all inclusive resort.
Cons: Internet is very slow, but there is a café where there are computers to use.
Location: About 20 minutes from Cabo. So rent a car if you like to go to town. Some snorkeling on the beach if the waves are not too ruff.
Great food and Staff. Nice pool and brand name alcohol.

Pure luxury

Cons: Cant think of a thing.
Location: Beautiful beach, short taxi to town.
This was one of the most beautiful properties we have ever visited. We were upgraded to a villa (without even asking) and it was spectacular. The staff is the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful one we have ever experienced, most especially Javier and Alejandro at the Italian restaurant and Miriam and Israel at the beach and pool. All the food was fantastic and the drinks were flowing everywhere. We cannot wait to return!

Solid 4-star

Pros: Great staff, never had any issues with any type of request (including a room change)
Cons: The gas golf carts are loud and smell bad. Wish the hotel could have broken our larger bills. Booked a King but got a double, rebooked the next day.
Location: Downtown Cabo was great, just be ready for the constant nagging to do excursions and buy stuff.
Upon check-in we were offered a drink while listening to a timeshare pitch. If you want to do 2 or 3 activities or use the spa going through the half day presentation might be a good idea. We declined and found our own activities in Cabo. The prices for excursions in Cabo are cheaper than the prices offered by the hotel concierge (if you decline the timeshare presentation). The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The in-room minibar was fine but didn't have wine or mixed drinks and was only replenished once. The views, grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful and well maintained. Felt a little crowded at some of the pools but we always found a secluded place on the resort or beach. The pool/spa tub temperatures were fine but varied from day to day. Beach is rocky and not really swimmable (during low tide people did get into the water). Staff was amazing, drinks and poolside food was very good. The restaurant food was very good overall, we had a few meals that were just okay and some that were excellent. Tips were always appreciated but we never felt that we had to tip. Advice: bring plenty of smaller bills because the resort will not break larger bills into 1's and 5's. Overall, a great experience I would give it a solid 4-star.
