Beautiful hotel, rooms need updating.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. There are multiple pools at different levels since the resort is built into the mountain. There are some hot tubs in secluded areas and little nooks to sit and view the ocean. Service was very nice. Sky Sushi was ok the view from this restaurant before sunset was gorgeous. The Mexican restuarant we did not care for, Bodega the steak house was excellent, no need to upcharge to get a "better" steak, Blu restaurant is hard to find but the shrimp cocktail was good. The fish restauant by the beach was the best! Wished there was a buffet option at lunch and dinnerThe music groups in the lobby bar and by fire pit were excellent. The room was very outdated, rusty shower curtain rod, toilet was leaking, sofa in room was very old and worn out, bed is very firm which we liked but most people probably wouldn't, table to eat was cast iron and hard to move without making a lot of noise. We had a joining room and we could hear every conversation from our neighbors. A/C went out one night but was fixed the next day. The saving grace for the room was the Ocean view. We were about 100 feet away from the ocean. AMAZING! That is the closest we have ever had a room to the ocean. I'm not sure but it seemed like they were in the process of updating some rooms. Room 1205 was not at all updated but the view was amazing. Being that close to the ocean saved us when the A/C went out. We slept with the patio door open to catch the breeze. You can hear the waves crashing.

Amazing hotel, service & location!

We loved our stay! We had a great experience at Fiesta Americana in Cancun last year so when we decided to go to Cabo, we picked Fiesta Americana. So glad we did! It's a newer and cleaner than Cancun location and the location is jus perfect! Food was great too but I did miss the grilled fish by the pool in Cancun. They didn't have it in Cabo. The kids had a great time at the beach! Not much waves because of rock formation than blocks the waves. So the kids were able to enjoy the water. It's also unbelievable how school of fish shows up by the beach! Yes, they are just right there in shallow water! Lots of fish! Hands down, Fiesta Americana in Cabo is our new favorite! Can't wait to go back there !

Beautiful

This was a very beautiful hotel! We stayed right in the middle of everything so it was very convenient for us to go around to places. Being in the middle, it did get loud since there was live entertainment, but I didn't mind it too much since it was great. We traveled with my sister's newborn and they were very family friendly here since they do not charge the baby anything for the baby. The place is a distance from down town, but there is a shuttle that takes you to the Marina which is within walking distance. It takes approximately 15 minutes and is about 12 per person. The food at almost every restaurant was delicious. My top 3 were Blu, La Bodega, and Rosato. The only biggest downfall of this hotel was the service was a bit slow at the majority of the places we ate, so sometimes our favorite meal would be the breakfast buffet. Overall the experience was very good.

Great food, Ok rooms, ok location, very good stuff

Gran Fiesta Americana is a very big resort. Location is ok due to the sea to be with a lot of rocks, so not the best place if you like to swim on the ocean, but the pool are all very nice . Stuff is very friendly and food is outstanding. We had a superior ocean view room with 2 queen bed. Room is ok but bed we're very uncomfortable . My bed was leaning on one side and mattress are very stiff. Anyway, overall the view is nice and there are many restaurants and food is really great. Stuff is also friendly . The only thing I didn't really like was SPA, small room and separate , so you can't enjoy it with your other half...

Love this hotel & location!

This is my second time at this hotel, because I liked it so much first time, I had to do it again! However, this time was little different. Staff was great! Very friendly and hard working people! We tip a lot, but we don't like to be pushed to it. The difference to was that there are sales agent everywhere trying to sell club-membership. They are at the restaurants eating with people taking their time to relax and enjoy the stay. We spent half day with agent who couldn't take "we need to think about this and we will like to sign for it later" instead he was pushy and said that the only option is to sign it immediately. Even doctor who I know from last visit was selling this membership.We LOVE this hotel!! We like to go there again, but please we should have other options to get this membership, if we want to. Offering some info at the reception is enough.Coffee is very important to me and my husband. The coffee at the hotel taste very good when is fresh made, but that was not always the case. Sometimes we had to ordered two or three times with hope to get fresh but it was old, bad coffee. So after three attempts to get fresh coffee we had to go to Starbucks. I wish if there was more salad option & dressings. I asked for green salad with vinegar&foil but got sweet salad.Many locals with day-pass with loud speakers on the pool. Last time we were thanked for the visit and wished a safe flight, this time receptionist just took our key cards & said "you are done" I was surprised!

Hotel is at very nice location w/beautiful beach

This is my second time and I wasn't impress as first time. Great hotel! Friendly and very nice staff, but not receptionists. Lots of food but not many choices. No salads. Too much of sauces in everything. Most annoying are club-member's representatives. They are everywhere, in the lobby, restaurants; eating breakfast with guests, taking their time to sell membership. We spent half day and decided to take some time to think. Sales person was pushy saying that we can't wait we have to sign immediately or there is not later option. Wrong! That option (to enrol) should be available always at any time. On my surprise, even doctor (who charged me $200 last time just for eye drops) is selling membership! Still, this hotel is great place, offering very good things; music, friendly servers, food, but something is different from past time; Membership-agents, and force to tip. We always tip VERY GOOD, especially good service and great employees!

Top Notch resort

Location: We went into downtown Cabos San Lucas on 2 occasions, an day 10 minute shuttle from the resort- great city to enjoy!
Resort is immaculate and offers exceptional customer service. The food was beyond expectations, especially for an all-inclusive. The staff works around the clock to take care of the guests and keep the resort beyond clean. There are so many pools and restaurants to choose from for any type of trip, girls trip, couples, family, work gathering. The resort really has it figured out how to pamper you on vacation. Our pool waiter at the main pool, Edgar, was amazing and took great care of us while we were there. He made sure we had whatever food or drink we needed before we asked for it. amazing place!

Fantastic!!!

This was an amazing all inclusive resort! Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pools, with easy access to the beach. The beds were comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. The best part was the food! This is not your normal all inclusive food experience. With so many restaurants to choose from , and multiple selections on each menu, you won't have to eat the same thing twice. The service we received was so attentive to every detail, we were treated like royalty. Do not miss the spa! You will not be disappointed!
