Don't do it!!

I stayed at the Holiday inn resort from 6/9-6/16/16. The good- this was the least expensive all inclusive when I was booking. The grounds are very well maintained. There is beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. There are 3 pools (one is adults only I believe). The 2 larger pools both have swim up bars. The is entertainment 2-3 times a week. The beach is nice also but unswimable. The hotel is close to town- about 5 min by taxi or a 15min walk The Bad- the food at the buffet is terrible! I am not a foodie, and I found most of the food repulsive! Breakfast was the same exact thing everyday. There is one other restaurant which is a la carte- this was hit or miss. There is no poolside service so you have to walk over to this restaurant and try to catch one of the waiters to order your food to go. The drinks are bad too- no natural fruit in any drink. All drinks are made with cheap liquor and concentrated mixers. On the last day of our trip one of our family members got very bad diarrhea. Most of the staff is not friendly. We tip for everything and even that did not make the staff any friendlier, my husband is Mexican and that didn't make a difference either. The wait staff at the a la carte restaurant are friendly. There were no activity staff. In other resorts we've been to they have staff that run activities throughout the day, not here but I did see some people playing volleyball in the pool. Very nice hotel as the price with better services

Pros: Kind services with smiling staff services.
Cons: Want to wash all vegetables and fruits with good water.
Location: ATV, Los Cabos city tour and sunset sailing.
It's a good comfortable place to take a vacation with friends. Even better than cruise trip.

Simple hotel but the service is wonderful

We had a great time ! The pool was beautiful . The views of Cabo are breath taking . The staff was very welcoming and professional !

Nice hotel - great location

We love the staff! We had a great experience. We stay here every year. They need to have more restaurants though. If you are booking pay extra for an upgraded room. This is more of a family atmosphere hotel. The activities pool is really fun! Alan is the best pool guy! The guacamole cooking classes were a lot of fun. They should do more cooking classes and make fresh guacamole every day! There is no pool side food service

Nice value for the money

We took our 2 kids ages 4 & 6 with us and had a good time. Food was as expected - not a lot of variety with only 2 restaurants but still good. Service could have been better. We travel a lot to all-inclusive resorts and are used to everyone always smiling and greeting us and being happy to serve and that is not the feeling we got here. No one was mean or rude but that "extra mile" feeling was lacking. Overall good value for the money!

Good Value

Pros: The location was perfect. It was just outside of town but not too far out if you wanted to go shopping.
Cons: The rooms are a little outdated and could use some updating but they were clean and comfortable.
The grounds were immaculate, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable but could use some updating. We weren't able to swim in the ocean due to the strong current but the beach was gorgeous. Overall, it was a good value and we would go back again.

Great Experience!!

The resort isn't your luxury hotel. But, it was very comfortable. The staff was amazing. They were very engaging with guest. I met some great people. I'd go back just for the relationships with the staff. It wasn't too crowded so it made it relaxing. Noe & Cameron were amazing bartenders. I would go back.

This was our third visit and enjoyed it just as much for the most part very quiet and peaceful we would go back again

Hotel muy agradable......esta muy cerca de la play

En lo personal me gusto mucho.....esta grande tiene 3 albercas las cuales tienen una temperatura excelente.......unos restaurantes con una comida muy rica......el personal es muy amable....el Sr. Arnulfo un mesero es una persona muy atenta y servicial........nuestro cuarto siempre lo mantenían limpio...........el único pero que pondría es que el bar ponen a una señora a cantar pero solo dura 2 horas y como que les falta poner mas ambiente después de que ella se va......seguir poniendo música para bailar y que la gente se siga divirtiendo.......pero en general todo muy bien........si lo recomendaría con gusto!!!!!!
