The covers in our room smelled so bad. Like they didn't wash them. The pillow cases too

starting point

Pros: Easy to find from airport. Loved the style.
Location: Buffalo wings and beer near by plus some shops for stocking up on road food and water.
I wanted a nice place to start my adventure and this hotel worked great. Clean easy to find from airport. I was driving a rental car and GPS in Mexico can only get you close. I looked at the pictures online and this helped me. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Just short walk away I found a Wings place and beer. A good start to vacation.

Friendly staff, clean

I stayed in this hotel only for one night. Its 15 mins drive from the airport. Staff is really nice and friendly. The hotel has a pool and breakfast is good. I am very happy about this place, would recommend it to anybody and certainly stay again.

Decent, clean

Decent place if you're in need of a fairly inexpensive stay that's still clean and comfortable. 20 min walking to the center, everything was clean. Wifi only works in the lobby, which is a bit lame.

Disappointing and noisy

Posted Feb 27, 2017
The hotel is clean & the room has all the basics. The noise levels were ridiculous. We could hear load banging the entire time from the upstairs room & we were right by the hallway so heard tons of people running past, talking etc. Moved to a new room on the Saturday, which was just as noisy as it seems we had kids upstairs so heard tons of talking & noisy footsteps running back and forth. The staff at the front desk on day 2 couldn't speak English & I had to use a translator on the one computer to translate from English to Spanish. They just said there were no other rooms. Due to the language barrier, we were also unable to ask for any suggestions on things to do or places to see in the area. The hotel is built in a little strip-type mall and there was a lovely view of the Walmart and other low budget stores. The pool area was small & not very luxurious. We spent our two days at the pool of another hotel which was by the beach. The inclusive breakfast was inedible. Included fruit loops, some scrambled egg slop with meat and some potatoes swimming in oil. I ate an apple for breakfast on both days. We were not even given water in the rooms. My boyfriend was told that the wifi in the room didn't work so I had to activate my roaming at an additional cost, only to find out a day later that the wifi in the room did work. The stay overall was very disappointing & we had major lack of sleep due to the noise levels. I would recommend staying somewhere by the beach.

Pros: Reasonably close to hotels
Cons: Improve housekeeping
Location: Few restaurants or other amenities nearby
Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were small and floors dirty and sheets stained. The bedding consisted of a sheet. We had to ask for more than one towel. There is no elevator so handling luggage was a challenge on upper floors. Not many eating establishments in the area. This establishment is on a bus routes and for individuals backpacking it could be okay.

Not the best choice

No wi-fi in the room (lobby only) and a breakfast consisting of tang and bimbo bread along with a fair to poor buffet.
