Overall this is a great resort. Our kids particularly loved the kids club and wanted to go everyday! The staff, particularly, Karla, Lisset, Corina, and Mario were fantastic. You could tell that they put a lot of enery into engaing with kids and making the activities special. The "Teepee" night show was excellent.

Property facilities were good , but they charged me almost double for my stay. The reason Hyatt Ziva gave is that Expedia paid for only 2 people and I have to pay for my 2 kids. My booking clearly was for 2 adults and 2 children, but they said Expedia only paid for 2. No phone support from Expedia was available. Virtual chat support was terrible. I ended up paying extra for the stay. After your booking, within the cancellation window, make sure you call Hyatt Ziva and confirm the details of booking

Thank you for your review and feedback, your reservation was done incorrectly because you include two adults and two kids under 1 year old, which in our system is free. But your kids are older than two years old which is the age where they should pay a kids rate, for that reason you had to pay the difference that were not considere on Expedia. If the reservation had been made correctly with the kids age, you should not had to pay any difference. Thank you for your undertanding. Let us know if you need further assistance!
The rooms were very dated and not super clean. Pull out couch beds were broken and everything was extremely worn. No hot water from 3-6pm each day. Not enough chairs at the pool so you have to wake up at 5:30am to try and grab chairs. Food was not great. The hotel hosted an outdoor wedding that was extremely loud until almost 11pm and kept the kids up.

Wouldn’t stay here again if it was free. Fortunate to travel a ton, global services airlines, platinum every hotel chain on earth. Had to come here for a wedding, absolutely disgusted. The staff were very nice though! Not their fault they work here. Food was trash, room was disgusting, our clothes smell like mold. Laptop would have been stolen if we didn’t call in specifically asking for it. Hyatt should be embarrassed.

About half the staff that I bumped into it's just rude the other half was great something to keep in mind you never know what horrible attitude you might get

It was a nice kid friendly resort and i would definitely visit again. Only down side was the shower having only cold water the first 2 days but staff helped out alot with that!

Just awful, no idea how this place got “5 stars”. Foods trash, rooms are awful, noisy, drinks were terrible.

The staff at Hyatt Ziva was remarkable. I cannot speak more highly of how welcoming, friendly, and accommodating the staff was. Room was impeccably cleaned daily too. Restaurants were all delicious, but our particular favorite was breakfast at Zaffiro. The staff was incredible, the food delicious, and the view breathtaking. There were countless activities to choose from daily too. I would highly recommend this property.

Awesome place. The all inclusive meals were great (more than 8 restaurant options) and there were no lines (but were good busy). Good entertainment at pool area and beach is beautiful. Great for adults and kids

Everyone and everything was wonderful! The only improvement I suggest is to have more staff available for restaurants in the evening. Some waits were 2 hours to get in.

Almost no vegetarian/vegan dining option. Very very disappointing. No cakes/pastries at all for vegan. And hardly any cooked dish.

The service from the moment we arrived was excellent. Staff were very friendly and the security around the resort made us ( family with kids) feel very safe. Eating options are sufficient and the food at the a la carte restaurants were great. Even though we arrived during spring break, there was little wait time to eat (we always had dinner at 6pm). The access to the beach is within steps and the view from the pools is spectacular. The only challenge was getting chairs by the pool as folks are getting up early to secure lounge chairs so just be prepared to rise early if you want to lay by the pool on a chair. Overall this was an excellent resort for families, and the Adult Only pool also provides for some tranquility!

This place was amazing, the ocean view was definitley worth it. Our kids loved the pools, and the food options were quite good. Excellent service and very friendly staff!

Very nice property, staff was immensely helpful. Kudos to the kid's club staff: Mario Lopez, Kitxia, Karina, Lisset as they welcomed the kids with open arms and kept them engaged in multiple activities. Overall, a pleasing experience.

As an English speaking guest, it would have been nice to have English subtitles on the TV movies which of course were all in Spanish. Good thing L had down loaded a number of movies on my IPad

Amazing staff - so friendly and courteous. They are going out of the way to accommodate you.
The food choices were OK, I wouldn't describe it as luxury. The property is compact and you do not need a golf cart to get around. I definitely recommend to stay here during off-peak times. Otherwise, it could get crowded.

Staff was wonderful. Room was a little run down. Thought we would have sitting area in our room but did not. Balcony furniture in bad shape. Shower gel fell off wall. One restaurant took 45 minutes to get salad. Loved adult pool and entertainment.
