Very nice hotel

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: The views, also staff was very nice, food options very good. We did not love La frida restaurant but the Asian restaurant was amazing!
Cons: Bed linens and beds in general. Not sure why I should see the mattress exposed under sheets?!
Location: Walk to town-not easy up hill. Loved it, but if you're not in good shape you need taxi to get you everywhere. Its about 10 minute drive $14.
The views are beautiful. Huge hotel- you have to wait for golf carts to take you from one place to another-we were not fans. Although it was helpful its a bit annoying having to call ahead to get a golf cart to go to pool or just grab coffee.

Beautiful and luxurious Resort/Villa. Great food/restaurants variety for all kind of taste. Staff very attentive and nice. Beautiful beach but not allow swimming. Excellent place to enjoy and relax.

Pros: The quickness of a response basing off a request.
Cons: The quality and preparedness of each room.
Location: Everything is minutes away which is good so all the locations are close to shopping and nightlife.
A/C didn't work in my room for the first 4 hours, took two calls for them to come fix it. On top of that I found ants everywhere inside the room which is what made me the most frustrated. There was a sign that said put your towel on the floor if you want it replaced. I put it on the floor and they didn't replace it because I cut my finger open and used the town and the blood was still on the towel that they must have just folded up and put back there. I wish I could get my money back or partial compensation for suffering no A/C at 11pm at night, and ants crawling everywhere.

Great views, but lots of steps due to elevation change.

Beautiful hotel and grounds.

The all inclusive package had amazing food and drinks. The pools were great and the staff was very friendly. The only negative is the place shuts down early. There are 2 bars open until 12 but they are very quiet, no music and not much staff. For any nightlife you must go downtown.

Beautiful Resort with amazing ocean views

Posted Mar 15, 2017
The Resort was beautiful, pools had great views and most with swimuo bars, food overall was okay, food at the poolside bars was the best (if you like ceviche, order the ceviches!), great service overall, Juan at the sky pool was impeccable. Best part of our stay was that we were upgraded to a beautiful suite because they did not have any adjoining rooms available, so we had a huge 2 bedroom suite with a hot tub on our terrace, thank you Hugo.

no beach to play on. Beach is nice to look.

Posted Mar 15, 2017
Pros: The staff is very well trained and polite.
Cons: I would like to have a steak option included in the all inclusive at least one night.
Location: There is enough to do close by. It was well protected so you feel save walking around the grounds.
It was a very good experience. The food was good and the staff was very well trained and pleasant.

Pros: Very accommodating and friendly staff...Very well maintained facility..
Cons: HVAC unit in our room never shut off and was annoyingly loud...
Location: Not much night life if your into that but mostly quiet environment which was ok for us...
A very nice stay overall...Always felt looked after by the staff and felt very safe...A special thanks to Erick at the front desk who went above and beyond to get us room with a beautiful view...

Food was good but that was about it

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: The food was good
Cons: Have entertainment. Not be begging for tips.
Location: We went into town to have something to do and it was fun.
I will start with what was good. The views from the room were beautiful as we were able to see a lot of whales. The food was good. Unfortunately that ends the good part. We paid for all inclusive but please note that there was a lot of things that were not included. There was something at each of the restaurants that you did needed to pay extra for and this was not the restuarants that were up front about that cost extra to step into. We did have have one restaurant that we went to that did not have a comment "not included in all inclusive" of something on the menu. You also had to sign for everything that you ate and drank with always a spot for tips. I felt like they were begging for tips the entire time we were there. There is absolutely NO entertainment. I have been to nursing homes with more entertainment. By 10 PM the place is shutdown. We were not looking for big shows but a band to listen to would have been nice. The most entertaining part of the weekends was the golf cart ride to get anywhere. You will want to take the golf cart ride unless you are a billy goat as the path are steep to get from one end to the other.
