Huge beautiful resort!

Pros: All the food options and pool options.
The staff went above and beyond. There was a mix up with a dinner reservation and they truly went above and beyond to make it right. Our room was super clean stocked with all our favorite stuff, just so happy. It was our honeymoon and hey treated us like royalty!

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff; Spactacular view; Great food
Cons: drinks at swim up bar
Location: best location in Cabo, concier had the info on ALL things to do in Cabo - very helpful
Finistera Jr. Suite, partial ocean view, all inclusive - fantastic room and view was way better than "partial". Staff was very friendly and helpfull - drinks were great (except at the swim up bar - probably for "safety" reasons) Food was excellent - view from the "Don Diego" was spactacular. Location couldn't be better - best in Cabo. We'll definately be going back!

Hotel close to the water

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is dated and I would not say it was 4 star at all. The room was clean, however the linens were not quality towels were very thin and course. The bathroom needed some repair. The pools were spacious and nice. We didn't like that if you didn't turn in your towel everyday they charged $25 especially that on the first day someone took our towel! The pool food was mediocre, but the breakfast buffet at Don Diego was excellent. Overall I would give the hotel a grade of C.

Nice hotel! Disappointed no swimming in ocean.

Beautiful views, above average food, amazing pools. Nice rooms, although the AC was really a humid cool. Sheets almost felt damp. We come from a dry climate so probably just spoiled. Overall a wonderful, stress free, five day vacation. We would definitely return.

Very nice hotel and food is not bad either! Very close to the marina for activities and excursions. Be warned that though this hotel is right on the beach, you can't go swimming there since the waves are too strong. You will have to take a water taxi or a regular taxi to the beach on the sea side. Also, the first few days, our air conditioning and free room wifi wasn't working, told the front desk and they happily upgraded our room to one of the bay view rooms.

Great resort! Home away from home!

Pros: The entire staff are wonderful people and make you feel very special.
Location: Just a quick walk to the marina and shopping.
Really enjoyed this last minute trip to Cabo with friends from Australia. The service was excellent. Food was wonderful and drinks were good as well. Sandos FInisterra has a perfect location to downtown and Marina access. We've been coming to this resort for many years and it's still our favorite place to stay!

Pros: Friendly staff and filet mignon at the Agave Restaurant was the best I've ever had.
Location: Ask the activities person about a boat ride to the Arch. We did the least expensive boat ride and it was definitely worth it!
We thought that Eduardo is a friendly and great bartender! And Alvaro was the guy who brought us to our room when we first got to the motel. He was very friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. He made us feel very welcomed!

Nice Setting, Good Food

Pros: Excellent location, right by the port and center of town.
Cons: Internet service AC in the gym
Location: The resort is a few minutes walk form the port and mall as well as the dolphins pool, so great location for shopping, cruising and fun.
Overall this is a nice place to stay. The food was very good, though it would have helped if they had menus around the pool, so you knew what you could order. Would have been better if the buffet had more finger food during the day. The internet service was slow an unreliable. It kept disconnecting and requiring signing in again. Inconvenient but not a show stopper. One day they didn't clean my and my friends' room until 3 PM, so we had to call them to come clean. Not cool! The nightly shows are entertaining. Gym had brand new equipment and nice view, but they need to turn the AC on.

Needs improvement

Overall, service needs improvement. When we arrived, the system was down and keys could not be made. Once the system was up again, no one informed us or dropped off new keys to our room. We had to be proactive and ask for updates and pick up new keys at the front desk. Reception could work on communication. On one occasion, Room service was so slow for an order of fruit (non-cooked) that we called to cancel. Our shower head and refrigerator weren't functioning properly in our room. Maintenance was slow to resolve and required us to call again to follow up. Waitstaff by the pool forgot my order and gave my order to someone else. There's definitely room for improvement with service.
