Very very impressive!

This resort met and exceeded our expectations. I have been in different places In Mexico, carribean, and on cruises and was very impressed with Sandos. Resort was clean and well maintained. Food was good for an all inclusive. Entertainment was fun. Weather there is perfect, 60 at night 80 and sunny all day. But the staff was the difference maker. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Especially Fernando. Find what ever pool area he is in and he will make your vacation better. Best server in Cabo hands down.

Walking distance to town

The best part of this hotel was Ismael at the VIP pool, best bartender ever! He made the best drinks and his customer service was excellent. Loved hanging out at this pool, very relaxing and beautiful

The best place to stay in Cabo

Staff was amazing and service and food was great. Location is perfect walking distance to the Marina. Views are spectacular. Only issue is I wish they would not harp on the time share presentation after you have said no server all times.

Amazing hotel with perfect location!

Pros: The location, the room comfort, the food and the staff.
Cons: Service at the Italian restaurant was lagging a little, appeared as though the black wrist banded folk were always taken care of before us.
Location: Downtown San Lucas is just a five minute walk and offered plenty of shopping, authentic Mexican cuisine and even options for taking excursions.
This hotel had the best location, close to the marina and downtown San Lucas making this a great get away. The hotel staff were so friendly and always went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Upon arriving we were greeted with champagne and given a brief hotel tour and explained how the dining system works. Our room had been recently renovated and offered breathtaking views of the marina and downtown. Tipping was not required but we enjoyed tipping the staff we encountered along with the poolside bar tenders. The food was exceptional, the best I have ever had at an all inclusive. They offered three different dining options for dinner and we enjoyed having lunch at the pool every day. Breakfast had two options. This hotel has multiple bars with terrific servers workin each so you always are helped in a timely manner. The beach parties were very entertaining and offered delicious buffet style food. If we return to cabo in the future we will definitely be staying here again.

Terrified stay!!!

We liked the view the hotel has. Food was ok. Staff was ok,some were nice, some were not. But the big problem that I will not go back nor recommend this hotel to anyone is the cockroaches. We got a very bad AC, woke us up every time it ran. It didn't really bother us much,and when we saw some roaches crawling around in the bathroom and on top the dresser where we put our clothes in I was scared wondering they would get onto bed while we were sleeping so we told the people at the front desk. They changed the room for us right away. But there were still cockroaches in this room too.we were just like not to talk about it and get the vacation over with but It happened really worse the night before we left. i left couple of apples and bananason top of the dresser in the afternoon and then we left the room. When we came back at night after dinner we found a big family of roaches, small ones, big ones running all over the top of the dresser, over the fruits. I almost cried. It was a very bad experience I've ever had with a such big resort like that.

Very walk-able to the marina restaurants and shops

Pros: The food and service was excellent. We liked being able to walk across the street to the marina for shopping, bars and restaurants.
Cons: Designate smoking areas and do something about the noise.

The only problem was noise from the AC units at the complex next door. We were in room 1202 and it was so noisy that we couldn't sit on our balcony. We also had a smoker in the room next to us, that was out smoking all the time. We got our room changed to the 4th floor room 1403 and it was a little better.

Paradise in paradise

This was my first trip to Cabo, but probably won't be my last. The only negative aspect might be the distance from the airport to the hotel, about one hour or slightly more. The positive aspects, are numerous. Check in was fast and easy and was accompanied by a glass of champagne. The resort property is beautiful, and everything is within easy access. The marina, with all the beautiful yachts, bars, and souvenir shops, is within a five minute walk. The hotel staff are all very courteous and helpful. Hector in the Lobby Bar, and Eduardo in the Whale Watchers bar, are both great, and make you feel like you belong. The breakfast buffet at Don Diego's is fantastic, and don't miss the calzones and pizza at the bar located at the lower level pool area. For an all-inclusive resort, the drinks were excellent, and the food was above average. All in all, this was a wonderful place to spend 6 days in paradise. Kudos to the management and the entire staff at Sandos Finisterra.

Great hotel for relaxing

Food was good for all-inclusive, swim-up bar was fantastic, right on the beach with great beach chairs and umbrellas to enjoy both the pool and the sun. Am definitely glad we stayed here!!! More excitement on the weekends than on weeknights, but walkable to the downtown bar area too.

Beautiful grounds, but bad rooms and service.

False Advertisement. We had booked two King Ocean View hotel rooms. next to each other . King Beds consisted of two full beds pushed together. There were NO king beds. Two sisters. We were taken to the other side of the hotel. the ocean view was about an inch of view in the distance. Our view was of a playground. No security cameras except for the front desk, that we could see. There were no latches on the doors to lock yourself secure in the room. The latch on the doorknob didn't work either. No Ice in Ice Maker. I ordered shrimp and there was feces on the shrimp-was never cleaned. No elevators to get to our rooms, had to take two flights of stairs with our luggage. NO SWIMMING in the ocean, they state there are too many currants but you could take a ferry to a nearby beach. We asked for another hotel room, no one contacted us. NO WIFI connection working, NO INTRANET. It only worked at the top of the building. We checked out the next day and went to the HILTON which was phenomenal. The rooms were by far the ugliest hotel room I ever saw. They must have hired the most professional photographer to post the best pictures on line. Drab pastel looking tables and a couch from the 1970s.

In Sandos Finisterra we have elevators in all our levels, security cameras at all entrances and specific areas, as well as a highly trained Security Staff. We also have ice machines in the 1,3 and 5 levels and in all our restaurants. Unfortunately, our beach is not suitable for swimming as well as many of the beaches in Los Cabos, due to the strong current, however we offer 3 pools where you can relax or have fun every day.
