Location is great, you can walk to the Marina or one of the beaches at the bay. Swimming in front of the hotel is not advisable (definitely not for snorkelling). We are a young couple so we even managed to climb the rocks at the end of the beach to reach "lovers beach" (that was a nice experience). We paid for the "all inclusive" which was a good idea because food at the hotel is good but expensive (not buffet). Around $80 per meal (for two).
I never really care too much for a hotel service but this one really stands out, it is a-ma-zing! Everyone is just really really friendly, helpful, smiley, pleasant, etc. I've never been in a better hotel in this aspect. We also rented a car so we could go every day to a different beach. I believe the hotel is not that nice to stay the whole day in it. If you stay here you can also go to Playa Grande hotel (better facilities but does not include the all inclusive package).
Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again. If you plan to stay the whole day at the hotel maybe it's not the best option, but there is so much to visit in Cabo that you should try move around.
