Great location. Rock star service.

Posted Jan 30, 2016
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Not a thing.
Location: Short walk to the downtown area of Cabo for tourist shops, restaurants, and bars. We walked to Cabo Wabo.
My wife and I went for a Monday-Friday without the kids. It has a beautiful groomed grounds with plants, walkways and candlelit stairways. The service is really over the top. There are countless employees around to help with any little thing such as putting your towel on your beach chair, or handing you a bottle of water after your walk on the beach for some exercise. It wasn't crowded and there are only about 100 rooms so it's probably never crowded. No problem getting two beach chairs at one of the infinity pools overlooking the ocean. We saw whales nearly every day, while sitting at the pool but that's seasonal. The rooms are big, and most also have a personal small infinity pool. Daily guacamole and chips around 4 p.m. Consistently great food. The private tunnel makes a walk into downtown Cabo for shopping or restaurants a 5 minute very safe walk, or they will drive you through the tunnel in a golf cart. Bring your wallet and lots of small bills for tips. Even though it was expensive, my wife and I are already planning a return trip.

Loud airconditioning

Posted Jan 24, 2016
Pros: Extreme privacy
Cons: The a/c systems are poorly designed as they are loud.
Location: Easy walk to restaurants/bars.
The only downside I experienced was the noise associated with the air conditioning system. When the a/c goes on, it automatically went to maximum fan speed for about 5-10 seconds and then to a lower speed. The initial sound of it turning on is very loud. Using an iphone app, I measured it at 80 decibels. That’s similar to a garbage disposal running. The second problem is that the system cycles on and off numerous times, much more than seems normal. That means that, while trying to sleep, I experienced the loudness of the system tuning on much more than I would have expected. On my last night there, after 30 times going on, I lost count. On my first night, I notified Perla, the concierge, of the noise. She said that she had maintenance look at the problem. The problem did not get fixed.I was offered other rooms, some much nicer than the one I was in, but I tested the a/c systems in these alternate rooms and the loudness existed in all. Alejandro, the room manager, got involved and, ultimately, told me that it’s the company’s position that the a/c systems operate properly. Well, here’s my position: If you charge premium, boutique hotel prices, there are certain standards that need to be met. The a/c systems, even at low fan speed, run loud. If you require a quiet room to sleep, this may not be the hotel for you. Also, when Alejandro realized that he was not able to resolve my concerns, as all rooms have the louder-than-normal a/c systems, there was no effort to offer any o

perfect

Everything is perfect - the service, people. views, beach and music a night. Sometime the food is a little to gourmet but there are other choices. you never want to leave and the grounds are immaculate. It is a rude awakening to leave your your hotel and go into the city but you can visit The Office, Edyths and DOC for great dining. The hotel is beautiful 24/7 and if you get a room with a high view you can just be content to gaze - especially at 4 PM when they bring the gift of guacamole and Coronas.

Paradise

Posted Dec 5, 2015
My husband and I went to this incredible hotel to celebrate my birthday and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we got through the tunnel upon our arrival it was as if we had arrived in paradise. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Having the room decorated with flowers for my birthday was such a nice gesture. Our room was flawless and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The view of the mountains really makes this hotel even more special than it already is. All of the food was delicious and getting a seat at the pool was never a problem. Also, you're very close to town which is definitely a plus. I'm forever spoiled after staying at this amazing place.

Pros: From the moment that we arrived at the airport, to our flight out, the level of service provided by the staff was unlike anything we've ever experi
Location: The marina is a very short walk from the resort, my wife and I only left the property one time to eat dinner and purchase souvenirs for children.
This was our 2nd trip to the resort and could not speak more highly of the level of service provided by the staff. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to our departure, to the amazing breakfast at Don .

Pros: Everything!
The resort is first class. The property is unbelievably stunning and the views of the pacific are breathtaking. The rooms are comfortable, cozy and each room has it's own private infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The staff is excellent and everyone that you encounter is friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this resort and we definitely will be returning.
