Breathtaking view, amazing staff, feels like home

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: All the hotel staff are amazing, very, very courteous and friendly. Architectural design of the hotel is very unique.
Cons: I wish lower prices on the food and more variety. And also more information in the room about the dining options and menu of each restaurants.
This was my first time at Cabo San Lucas and made the right choice staying at the Westin. Only downfall is the cost of food and not much of a selection but hotel staff accommodated our request. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and treated us so good from check-in to check-out. Very quiet and got a nice view of the Sea of Cortez. Very relaxing and tranquil. My girls loved the infinity pool and the best part, it wasn't crowded. I would come back and stay at the Westin again.

Lovely hotel on the beach.

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Great location. Ocean view from the room, spa, restaurants, and pools.
Cons: Keep up the good work.
Location: Swimming in the ocean is difficult near by because of the rocks and surf but swimming is allowed further up the beach.
We had a wonderful time. The hotel has breath taking views from almost every angle. The resort is right on the beach and the pool area was nice. Part or the pool area was being remodeled, but it did not interfere with the rest of the pools. The room was clean and the extra large king size bed was the best part. The sound of the water waves put us to sleep at night and awakened us in the morning. We will be back.

Exceptional staff and service

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Pretty much everything. Great location, great facilities, great service, and surprisingly good food.
Cons: Not the newest property and some of the facilities need refreshing. Dining is expensive, but typical of Los Cabos in general. Plan on US$100/day each.
Location: A dramatic setting on a beautiful but unswimmable beach (there are very few swimming beaches in the area). We got a lot of use from our rental car.
The Westin Los Cabos has a great location, great facilities and all the virtues of a high-end resort in Cabo, but what really sets the Westin apart is the exceptional service. At the desk, at the pool, in the restaurants, and everywhere in between are smiling, helpful people who genuinely care about your well-being. After two days, Juan in the lobby and Diego in the restaurant were old friends. Everywhere we were greeted by name. If we were having trouble finding a spot at the pool, someone would see and run to fetch more sun beds and an umbrella. We are seasoned travelers, usually choosing 4-star hotels, and this was the best managed, motivated and performing staff we have experienced.

Relaxing!

Posted Jul 8, 2014
I was disappointed that there was nowhere to get free drinking water! We were forced to buy a four dollar bottle from the bar each time! Sometimes you just need a drink a water without the hassle of signing a room ticket!

Great facility with outstanding view

Posted Jul 7, 2014
You can't go wrong with choosing this location for your vacation. Very comfortable room with an outstanding view of the Sea if Cortez. Call first to see if they are complete with the construction of the pool area. Disappointed that we were not notified beforehand.

Excellent stay!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Service Safety Food Pool was great
Cons: Shuttle to San Lucas or San Jose. Use the orange and purple (blue) city buses to get there...$2/person one way...air conditioned...
Location: Trans Cabo airport shuttle great..on time and clean... Hacienda Cotina Cantina Restaurant...San Lucas...great food and super view...
Stayed here June 27 - July 3. Excellent rate....great food....felt very safe...clean....super great service... There was a renovation of one of their infinity pools but they went out of their way to make sure it did not disturb their guests. Would highly recommend this place!

Cabo resort vacation

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Architectural design, service, views.
Cons: Lower food/beverage cost. More activities.
Location: Location is isolated. 20-25 minute drive to harbor, marina, restaurants and entertainment. Most activities normally found at any beach are available
Beautiful resort set into the natural landscape. Downside- somewhat isolated and food was overpriced. Upside- gorgeous hotel and facilities. Landscaping, design, and service were excellent. It's a significant walk from the lobby to the rooms (not easily suited for a disabled person). Ocean is absolutely beautiful- but swimming is prohibited due to strong undertow and dangerous tides. Great place for a laid back vacation.

Dear Guest, Thank your for posting a review of your experience with us. We glad to hear you enjoyed the architecture of the hotel, facilities and customer service. Regarding to your comment about our food and beverage prices, we would like to mention that prices are generally the same in Los Cabos area as part of being a prestige destination. It is also very important to mention that most of the time the water is rather quiet and our guests enjoy swimming to feel the sea breeze. However, the condition of the sea can change any time and the hotel counts with a lifeguard watching the beach. Thank you for choosing our hotel and we look forward to host your next stay at Los Cabos. Be well, Beat Meier General Manager

Waited on hand & foot!

Posted Jun 14, 2014
Cons: Need screens on patio doors in rooms. More comfy chairs on balcony. Need stronger umbrellas at beach so staff doesn't close them due to wind.
Location: Stayed at hotel the entire time! Relaxed!
This is a beautiful and very service oriented hotel. The staff is excellent and friendly! Grounds are beautiful. Fitness room awesome (virtual scenery on the cardio machines) with a huge sauna. It was nice to have a choice on fine dining restaurants. Restaurants are all very expensive but if you get the $200 food/beverage credit, that helps with this. I would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing on the cliffs in Cabo

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: The amenities and staff. So nice and brought you anything you asked for.
Cons: Bar open later.
Location: Cabo San Lucas 20 minute cab ride and San Jose del Cabo 15 minute cab ride.
The Westin is further out with no other resorts and I loved that! You enter the lobby on a marble driveway and are greeted with a margarita - what?! There are lounge areas every step of the way, which is necessary bc this resort is huge. But the view from any lounge area is amazing and you can hear the waves crashing the entire day. The staff speaks perfect english and is extremely accommodating. The pool is the best place to be. There's a pool in the shade and a pool overlooking the beach in the sun. A bar grants you access from the dry side and pool side and no worries, they'll take your order from your lounge chair for food and drinks. Be careful on the balconies in the rooms, the railings only go up to your hip! Oh and the sports bar closes at 1am, a little early for me.
