Pros: friendliness of staff around the pool and breakfast area. evening entertainment. enjoyed the daily staff singing and dancing around the pool.
Cons: Put a few chairs around the pool area. The lounge chairs can be uncomfortale for some who have back aches and pains that come with old age.

Non friendly staff, outdated rooms

Posted Dec 29, 2016
The staff seemed annoyed any time I had a question or request. They staff doesn't seem to have answers to questions, maybe they are not trained well. You can't pay cash for anything. The room was moist all the time, my clothes felt wet. The bed sheets felt wet.

Decent hotel.

Posted Dec 29, 2016
Pros: Convenience to downtown Cabo and good beach location.
Cons: This place needs upgrades & cleaning. Rooms are extremely sparse. A couple broken things that never got fixed. Very thin walls, you hear everything
This is a great complex of hotels close to downtown Cabo. However, they spend all their time trying to get you to take a tour of the condos and buy something. This aspect was very frustrating and annoying. If you didn't go to one of the tours you were really a second class citizen. The concierges would not help you at all. Very disappointing.

Disappointment

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Pros: The staff was nice and congeal. Very efficient especially when tipped which is something I almost always do. The bartenders were hard working.
Cons: Room management. Hotel management. Update that website.
Location: The location was beautiful. The only thing we did outside of the resort was the glass bottom boat trip and really enjoyed our selves.
I had two friends a nice couple joining me and so I paid for two rooms. They tried to put us in the same room and I had a horrible time fixing that. They did not understand that I did not want a married couple in my room. The next morning at breakfast they addressed my friends husband as the man with two wives. I was horrified. Every time I went to breakfast by myself they asked if I needed a table for three. I have been widowed for almost 20 yrs and found this embarrassing. When I originally booked the hotel the website said 24hr room service (there was none) not even coffee in the rooms. The website advertised 5 restaurants that needed reservations (not) and they were all buffet. I was on a second floor and have trouble managing stairs there was no elevator.

Disappointed

The grounds were beautiful. But checking in the staff was not nice and they were not that helpful. Cold showers in mornings and waited three days to get a light bulb changed. I was overall disappointed.

Nice hotel

Posted Dec 27, 2016
Pros: Their staff, pool w/ slide
We absolutely loved our stay. We were celebrating my Daughter's double-digit birthday and they made sure to make her feel celebrated, we came to our room with a birthday cake waiting for us. Our check out was at 11am, but our flight didn't leave until 8pm, they allowed us to stay within the resort, took care of our bags and let us use the hospitality room to shower before departing. The only reason I didn't give an "excellent" is because they really, really push the time share meeting.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Posted Dec 23, 2016
Pros: The rooms were very clean and spacious. The studio had an equipped kitchen that I would have used if I had more time in Cabo.
Cons: Shuttle to and from the airport would be convenient. Play music Latin flavor !!! Dont play english music 85% of the time, we are in Mexico lets enjoy!
Location: The famous Arch of Cabo is your backyard. Parasailing, snorkeling, sunset cruise dinner, Cabo Wabo, beach is steps away, etc.
We went to Cabo on a long weekend getaway for my husband's birthday and I was very impressed and it was better than I imagined being. The hotel is in a great location because the famous Arch of Cabo is your backyard. A lof of the beaches are not safe in Cabo but Villa del Palmar has the perfect location where you can enjoy the Sea of Cortez and the different aquatic activities. It is about 5 minute ride into the downtown Cabo San Lucas where all the night life is. The Staff all speak perfect english nothing gets lost in translation and they are seriously the nicest people! My favorite part was being able to eat tacos and have beers pool side and they are very attentive. It never took too long to get someone's attention for more beers or tacos. Their taco bar was SPOT ON ! and they also have an Italian restaurant.
