Hotel at the beach

Few steps down to a swimmable beach. Easy to get around the hotel and liked the market and deli at the ground facility. Enjoyed the studio with the kitchen to prepare quick easy meals as well. Liked the layout of hotel and easy to get around the area, the trolley was great to go to the sister hotel...

Me gusto que el hotel tiene mucha actividad, es un hotel divertido con diferntes acticidades. Ademas el Staff es amable y servicial.

Nice hotel. We just got the short straw.

Pros: Clean. Great staff. Beautiful grounds. Viberant atmosphere.
Cons: Acoustics in sports bar. So loud. AC needs to be customers choice not what they decide is right for everyone.
Location: Location was fine. The door/ bell guys were wonderful! When asked for dinner recommendation they never disappointed. Taxis always close.
Friendly staff. Clean. Our room location was the issue. Right around corner from lobby. Loud hallway, laundry on one side with out of balance spin cycles and maids storage on the other. Exhaust turbine the size of a Volkswagen for the kitchen BBQ vented directly towards our patio. Management turned the water off 2 nights. Had to have maintenance come to the room and work on AC to get temp down to our preference. Housekeeping wonderful. Wait staff overworked. Taco bar best eats. Sports bar needs acoustics. Other restaurants pretentious. Just say no to 2104......

Great location, good servers, all else is average

Pros: Location - good servers - market across the street.
Cons: Service.
Location on Medano (swimmable) beach is great. Close to town, quick taxi, etc. I did not do the all inclusive, so I found the food/drink servers great as they knew they were getting a tip from me (note: even if you do the all inclusive, you ARE supposed to tip!). Hotel staff was average at best - not rude, not friendly - just average. There is a market across the street that is convenient to have and I believe all rooms have a kitchenette. If you are looking for a good deal & want to be on Medano Beach, this is an ok option. There are way better choices in Cabo. This is all average all around. I would never intend to stay here again.

Access to everything....with a catch

Pros: Location and amenities were nice.
Cons: Rooms need repair.
Location: You are a 5-minute taxi ride from downtown Cabo San Lucas where you can go do just about anything. Resort concierge service can offer near the same.
The staff was incredibly helpful, considerate, and kind. Great pool and great access and view of the beach and the "seven points" of Cabo San Lucas. Lots of local souvenir hagglers EVERYWHERE the first step into the sand from the resort. Lots of illegal drug sale offers too; parents beware. The view was amazing, the food was fair, and the hotel generally very nice, despite its age. Some issues in the room include buckled or falling ceiling tiles, broken and repaired vanity tops, and "all inclusive" does not include the food and drinks in the room. Otherwise, a pretty pleasant stay!

Greasy hotel service. Disappointed with Expedia service my deposit was not send to the hotel so it was stressful getting clearing everything with the hotel and Expedia. I will not be using Expedia anymore for any reservation

Daily activities available at Villa Del Palmar.

The hotel was nice except we had the corner room on the first floor, right in front of the hotel, facing the road to the main front door. Our patio was not private because it was too up in front of the road and main walkway. Would stay again with better room location.

Pros: The location/proximity to town is nice. Also a great vacation value
Location: Excellent base for you and yours to enjoy all Cabo has to offer
Villa del Pal Mar has become a favorite of my wife and I. The resort is clean, well appointed and right on the most swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. The on site restaurants are excellent and the buffet and sports bar are equally pleasing. Possibly the best part is the excellent service from the pool area staff. Raymundo and his staff of attentive waiters, Miguel, Alberto, Pedro, Jose Luis are always there to make sure you and yours have everything you need, food, drinks and helpful info for any activity you wish. In my opinion, one of the best vacation values anywhere. Tom G

Staff awesome, pools were terrific & food great

Pros: The weather was the best starter, but then staff made you feel like a queen and you naturally fell into a relaxed state of mind. The property was fantastic, plenty of room, especially by and around the pool.
Cons: Got a junior suite because I thought that would give us some room, but it was smaller than I liked. Positioned perfectly though with the sea right in front of us. The nightly shows below us could use some work.
Location: Very near downtown Cabo, just a nice walk down he beach. Felt very safe, taxi's were everywhere and apparent, need to worry about getting ripped off
