Close your tube station.
Bathroom needs some modernisation and not as clean as I would have liked. Staff really nice and close to tube station and right off Portobello Road.

Never again!
For a 2.9 rated hotel I didn't expect much. Room was too cramped for 3 people with 3 large suitcase and carry on. Pillows were flat. Toilet seat was broken. For the price I paid I expected more. I wish management would improve the facility and accommodation instead of pocketing all the profits! We specifically told the front desk that we wanted privacy but they still had our room cleaned. We were missing a box of chocolates but nothing else was missing. Front desk was polite and hotel provided blow dryer and converter. The place was just HORRIBLE.

Dirty and old
I stayed here because I love Notting Hill. I will definately never stay here again. The hotel is in serious need of a remodel and proper cleaning. One of the two glasses in the bathroom was obviously not clean (looked to have toothpaste smeared in the bottom) there were 2 bath towels, and no hand towels or wash cloths. I woke up to a bad smell and found a really old bottle 1/4 with orange juice in it about to explode, between the bed and the wall. There is a fire door from the hallway and the room doors slam closed everytime someone comes and goes. It is really loud inside the room that it will definately wake you up if you are not a deep sleeper. The walls are so thin that I could hear every word of the show that was on on the room next to me until I finally fell asleep at 2 am. You have to leave your room key at the front desk every time you leave, which is really weird.

Falling apart, like a camping site
Really you get what you pay for! I usually don't have high expectations, I just need a bed and a bathroom. In this case they were unacceptable! The double bed had one side with basically springs hitting your back, the other side was OK but for this reason the bed was not flat, almost inclined, terrible! The bathroom was a joke, the small sink with two faucets, very old (not luxury stuff) with cold and hot. The shower was a tube from the wall, literally, on a small platform with a curtain. With low pressure. This tell you how the property is maintained, just with my 3 days stay alone they could buy a very good mattress , but they prefer to have many customers have a bad sleeping, complaining and not going there anymore. They don't care. All other aspects of their business are handled in a similar way.

Wifi could have made all the difference
If you're into Boutique style, it's for you. It's cute! And old! Expect it to look that way. But in 2017, guests should not have to either pay for wifi or be subjected to limitations. 24 hours (to the minute) of wifi with 30MB of data or pay! How much is that? Never enough. And it's very, very spotty, making it very frustrating trying to check in to flights etc. almost impossible at times. I think the days are long gone where wifi is a specialty or add on. Having to go down the street to Starbucks for a strong signal made me give this hotel a poor rating. Otherwise, location and staff are great!

good service
Great location, lovely staff. Hotel is run down and not particularly nice but it was cheap. Good crash pad after a night out.

Very basic hotel
If you are going to be out the whole day and have a place to sleep at night. This is it, however, the mattress is very worn and it is like sleeping on spring.

Definitely more like a hostel than a hotel
Staff very friendly and welcoming but thwe hotel is pretty bad. The room smelt so bad. The beds & mattresses were really old and falling to bits and very very uncomfortable however the sheets appeared very new and clean. The window had fell off so was open the whole time. The barroom was very small and again old & very "hostel" like with bare metal piping i wouldn't stay again & wouldn't recommend. We paid £90 to stay but would suggest a price of around £40

I didn't really get good value for money. There's nothing to add. Okay?
