Well located and very pleasant

Well located for where I needed to be in Los Gatos. I was surprised by the lack of on-site gym/fitness facility but everything else was good.

Location: good food all within walking distance
Just wonderful place. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Love that everything is within walking distance. Can't wait to come back.

Great old hotel in Los Gatos

Beautiful old warm, comfortable hotel in Los Gatos. The rooms feel like home. Staff very professional. Only minor recommendation, torque up the gas in the fireplaces just a little bit, set very low, it’s just a trickle right now. Other than that perfect.

Beautiful hotel. Love the setting.

The Spanish Moorish style of the hotel is beautiful. There is a wonderful cabana area in the courtyard that is very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The bed was a little too soft but ok. Couldn't find a way to rent movies. We were on the first floor. Someone could look right in from the main courtyard if they wanted to. The drapery shears needed to be a bit thicker for privacy. The curtains blocked for privacy. Not a deal killer. Loved that they have EV stations and 2nd trash can for recycle. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and downtown area.

Best bed in Los Gatos.

Comfortable bed, sewer stench in the parking lot. At check in the front desk directed us to the wrong building so we didn't find our room. Had to go back to ask again to find the right building. Excellent room and amenities. Skip the breakfast. Find something better in Los Gatos proper.

As you mentioned in your review, we have several great breakfast options within walking distance to the hotel, as well as many coffee shops if you are looking for a quick bite in the morning.

My Stolen Jewelry

The staff was very unfriendly upon arrival. During our stay jewelry, A pair of diamond earrings was left on the nightstand in a plastic sealed bag. The bag went missing. We reported it to the front desk and it was treated like it was not a big deal or priority for the hotel.

We appreciate you reaching out regarding your recent experience at the property. We can certainly appreciate the frustration you feel when things are misplaced when travelling. Our guests safety and security for themselves and their personal belongings are always a high priority for us here at this property. In situations like these, we always follow up with an internal audit. We have the ability to audit the locks of our guestrooms and can follow up with staff that accessed the room. In this situation, we did not find anything out of the ordinary. A large majority of our back of the house staff has been with the property for quite sometime and are around items of high value on a regular basis. However, in every guestroom as a standard amenity, we also have a safe for guests to secure any valuables. Often times, we have found in the past that when items have gone missing, they have slipped into an unusual area of luggage, purses or articles of clothing. If you do still feel that this is not the case, we do encourage you to follow up with Los Gatos PD to further investigate the matter.
