Reasonable rates, large rooms

Hotel was a little noisy, we could hear people talking in the room next to us. We do like to stay here but some rooms have not been updated yet. Rooms closer to the office are better.

A disgusting hotel - would not recommend.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything!
Location: I have no idea - it was easy access off the highway.
The 2 people at the reception desk were very unwelcoming. I was given a key to the wrong room. My room was switched. Someone barged into my room shortly after. Kids were running up and down the hall. The room smelled. When I went to bed a booming noise started. I called the desk and they told me there was a band in the facility that would be playing till 3am. They moved me to another room that reeked of smoke in a supposedly non smoking hotel. I requested another room but they said they were full and the only other room was right above the lobby and band. There were people hanging out in the halls and banging around all night long. The bathroom was filthy. They made no effort to find another hotel and I was not familiar with the area. It is a very old and tired hotel and should not be on an Expedia web site as an option.

Remote hotel

A bite too far from the Kentucky Exposition Center, which takes out of the equation of price/nite, only if you have to take a cab. The breakfast is very minimal. A hotel built in the 70 that is due for a makeover. Overall staff is friendly and airport shuttle efficient

Thanks for sharing you feed back with us. We are 6 miles from the Kentucky Exposition Center right of I-264. Depending on traffic its a less than a ten minute drive. We also are close to many restaurants and 2 large shopping malls. We are very excited because we are currently under renovation! We hope you will come back and let us share all the great places around us our renovations.

Nice hotel

Great hotel for the price. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be that they only gave you 3 towels for a 4 person room.

Nice old hotel

I choose this hotel because it is very close to where I am going. The free breakfast however is nothing but different dry cereals, bagels, biscuits, bread, coffee, tea & hard boiled eggs. If you're looking for continental breakfast you better go somewhere. The hotel is an old building but very quaint. The bathroom is clean. I'm not really sure if the bed is really that comfortable because I was too tired that every time I got back to the hotel I'd just dozed off.

Attractive setting but.....

Pros: The location and the comfortable bed.
Cons: The bathrooms need updating(tile especially)!
Location: The location was convenient to our friend's home. We weren't interested in things to do.
We asked for a room near an entrance since I use a walker to get around. All was fine until we opened the outer door to 4 steps! Our room was at the top of the steps. We could hear the outer door shut during the night and all morning(off & on). SO not a comfortable night.

worst hotel experience

Cons: everything
kids running in the halls until after 1am on fri night. repeated calls to front desk had no effect. on sat night returned to the hotel after a long day to find the room not made up. we were out of the room from 10 am onward. i wanted nothing more than to take a shower & hit the sack. no clean towels. bed linens not changed as requested. too tired to deal with front desk. when i complained at check out the front desk clerk only said "she would mention it" to housekeeping. no " i'm sorry". no offer of compensation. only a MENTION to housekeeping. will never stay there again & will let as many people as i know not to book there .

Great value for an overnight stay

Pros: While this is an older property that could use a little refreshing, it is clean and comfortable. Ideal if you need a inexpensive overnight stay -- not lots of amenities, but a great value property that's conveniently located in Louisville.
Cons: Older property that needs to be updated and refreshed.
