Would stay againPosted Apr 26, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed for a competition at the expo center. Suites were easy to find, hotel check-in was easy and friendly, handed out list of local restaurants for dinner. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Close to the airport and other attractionsPosted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: Location, staff and cleanliness.
Cons: Better signage. I felt like I rounded a corner and I almost missed it.
Location: The airport, the zoo. It's very close tot he highway so you can get to just about anything in town very easily.
We needed a room for one night in Louisville. We initially chose this one based on proximity to our event. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful both during check in and out the next day. The lobby was clean and the room was as well. It looks like our room was recently remodeled and the results were great. The bath was roomy and stylish. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't a lot of street noise or hotel noise. I'd definitely stay here again.

Convenient location for our stay.Posted Nov 3, 2015
Pros: Free washer and dryers.
Location: Within 10-15 minutes (traffic time) of everything-Churchill Downs, downtown, etc.
The room was just what we needed-close to where we needed to be! Staff was nice. Noticed they offered free washer and dryers with only 75 cent detergent-thought that was a nice touch! The biggest complaint was is REEKED of smoke!!! We would have asked to change rooms, but we vouldnt tell if it was actually our room or coming from the room next door. Did call the front desk to notify them of it-as this was a no smoking hotel-the girl said she would take a walk in the floor and notify the manager. All and all, it was fine and I would honestly back.

Zoo bound? Stay here but don't arrive latePosted Jul 16, 2015 on Hotels
I arrived late(11 pm)and my room key was put in a lock box in the doorway where I had to punch in the last 3 letters of my name to get my room key. I prefer a more personal experience at check in and was shocked that 11 pm was cutoff for dealing with people. Everything about the hotel itself was great. The room was spacious and had fridge, microwave and sink. The bed was comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. Other than the nonpersonal experience checking in, the only other problem I had with the hotel was the location. I chose it because I was meeting friends for a trip to the zoo and it said it was close to zoo. While it was close, it was the other way off the exit away from all the restaurants and it was on the end of a side street off in behind a bunch of warehouses. I'll probably just go back to using the Candlewood Suites in Clarksville on my future trips to Louisville so I'm close to a Target, Walmart and more food choices than you count.

My whole stay was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the Country Pantry and the lending cabinet. Plenty of parking available. They also had books and movies on DVD available on a lending basis. The gym and laundry room were very appealing.

Hard to find and not clear about servicePosted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Little store operating on a trust system. 24 hours.
Cons: Inform people of policies and amenities upon arrival.
Location: It is an industrial park, almost nothing nearby.
At the price we paid, you could have told us it was once a week linen change. First room was full of smoke smell and clerk didn't seem to quite believe us. Apparently it was the next to last room. So we moved.

Comfortable, extended stay hotelPosted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
The room was very comfortable. A great place for an extended stay even though we didn't use it that way. A kitchen area, large counter for eating, a sitting area, equipped with dishes as cooking utensils. Two TV's, one in the sitting room and one in the bedroom. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Good neighborhood for taking a walk. Would stay there again.
