No refunds, so choose wisely

Traveling with an 8 year old so seeing the Expedia description of this place sounded good... An in-room game console, balcony, indoor pool, etc.. But non of that exists, except the pool which has zero ventilation and is a sweat box. For $200 you would expect a pretty nice place, but hotel is in major need of work. We checked in, went to room on 5th floor, saw dead gnats on pillows and sheets, pubic hair on bed, dirty spot on sheet, and mattresses in body bag looking plastic bags (which I could see little blood spots around corners of bed through the plastic). We left the room to go somewhere else but the nice lady at desk said they won't refund, even though we were only there 10 minutes. So we were given a different room on 2nd floor (cleaner and acceptable), since we didn't want to lose $200. The food from their lounge was actually good, and worker there was great. At checkout we were told we would get a $40 refund (waiting on), and that their maintenance guy checked our first room out and saw nothing wrong. Apparently I'm a liar. I tried to report the false advertising on BBB about the whole balcony and game console thing but they aren't a BBB accredited business. So for $200 you get crappy breakfast, dirty room, no fridge, no microwave, no balcony, extremely hot room with a pool in it, broken exercise equipment, and be called a liar upon leaving. For $160 you can get a really nice suite downtown and have all the things this place doesn't have, which we did the next night.
