Real decent stay

Booked room for a 3 day stay to visit Churchill downs. Housekeeping came around a little early for me but did an excellent job when they returned a little later. The entire staff was friendly. Security in the parking lot was a good thing too

Terrible hotel, very dated. crappy location.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Better disclosure of hotels. I paid a lot for this room and it was beyond horrible!
Location: Well, if you like strip clubs and liquor stores, then this is your hotel.
Could not find my reservations, then tried to down grade the room that I originally requested and in a terrible part of town. Strippers where outside their establishments waving people in!!!

Pre-Derby; but I was there for work.

Pros: Convenient to Downtown Louisville. Right off the highway.
Cons: This Hotel was previously a Holiday Inn. The sign by the road needs to be replaced and lit. I'm sure this is in the process of being changed.
Location: Close to Louisville stadium and Derby. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Very accommodating. I had to extend my stay an additional night, although it was Derby Week, the staff was able to save a room for me for an additional night.

They gave our room to someone else

Everything was horrible. Dirty, stained walls. Cracked crumbling ceiling, air conditioner didn't work. No fridge or microwave. Coffee maker was missing pieces and didn't work. They gave our room to someone else while we were sleeping in it during our first night of a 2 night stay, pool isn't heated... I can go on and on. Terrible neighborhood. It's awful. Do not waste your money.

A few issues, but an otherwise nice stay.

I was a bit disappointed by the small breakfast options, but given that the hotel also offers dinner I understand. The nearest restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive away, closer to downtown. The room was very comfortable and clean, ample pillows and towels. There was a basketball tournament going on so lots of loud, excited teenage girls and their families were running around until late. I also received a phone call at 1:30 am, despite not knowing anyone else in the hotel. The only major inconvenience was my sink kept backing up if I turned on the water too forcefully, so I didn't use it very much. I would stay here again.
