Great location next to the Expo Center.

Pros: Ease to access. Front Desk was very nice.
Cons: Wi-Fi signal..
Location: Spent everyday at the fairgrounds and expo center. Did not get out much. Working a Convention.
It was ok - there on business. The wi-fi was not very good but I was in a room at the end of the hall.

Great stay near airport & fairgrounds.

Will definitely go back. Great for overnight or several days. Not far from downtown or from the malls, etc. Great staff, very clean & comfortable rooms.

Super hotel near the airport and fairgrounds

Pros: Room, location, staff, quiet, friendly. This is the one to stay at.
Location: 5 minutes from the airport and fairgrounds. Didn't go anywhere else.
I have stayed in a zillion hotels on business and for pleasure and take it from me, when I say this is an excellently run hotel - it is!! I stayed here for 3 nights to attend the gun show and was more than happy. The room is over-sized and modern, with an extremely comfortable bed. It was very clean. The bathroom was also extremely clean. The sofa and 47" TV was a nice combination! I really liked the staff and how helpful they were. The shuttle bus happily picked me up from the airport and took me to and from the show everyday. Maybe it is just Kentucky folk, but the friendliness was always there from all the staff. The hotel is 5 minutes from both the airport and the fairgrounds, by the hotel's shuttle. The hotel does not have a restaurant. They have a Starbucks franchise that also serves salads and sandwiches. I mainly ate at the show, but I understand there are restaurants within 5-10 minutes by shuttle. The shuttle will take you anywhere locally and the drivers are 100% Although next to the airport, the room was extremely quiet.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Very good experience, beds very comfortable! The only thing was there was a few gym equipment cardio machines out of service. But besides that good experience.

the good and not so good

Pros: easy to find. Front desk staff was excellent.
Cons: would have like continental breakfast provided as part of the nightly fee. It was very expensive to purchase food from the bistro.
Location: It was okay. Would have preferred location a little closer to the places we visited. It was okay though.
Room was not ready by 3 but the front desk made the best of the situation and gave us a free appetizer at a local restaurant. First night children were running up and down the hallway until about 1am. Kept some of our kids awake.. Front desk was very accommodating the entire stay. Had to ask for fresh towels and shampoo and staff was accommodating. when we left someone had left bags of garbage on our car. this was disappointing. Not the hotel's fault, of course.

dirty ever where!! it smells like smoke. I won't stay there ever again. it stinks. what more can I say!!!

`modern,no close restaurants

Cons: service and caring needs improvement.
Location: near airport, no nearby restaurants.
arrived at 5:15 no room ready.sugggested we watch tv while waiting.checkin time was 3:00 said they were busy over newyear.check in person said oh you are with expedia.i wondered what that statement meant?room ready at 6:30.i asked what were they going to do to compensate for the waiting?they gave us 2 breakfast coupons.tv only hd on few stations.disappointed in this stay.

Dirty, Broken amenities

The staff was not professional, the ice machines and elevator was broken. They messed up our reservations, then told us they didn't have any rooms. Not enough luggage carriers. The rooms were dusty and not fresh. I've stayed at many Marriot properties around the world, this by far was the worst!!! I would rate this 2 stars

Second stay at this hotel

Pros: Easy accessibility, modern accommodations, Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. Close to interstate but quiet.
Cons: Breakfast was provided only by order and prices were overly expensive. Even a light breakfast bar provided in room cost would be appreciated.
Location: Close proximity to U of L Stadium, Cracker Barrel and fast food restaurants.
This visit was my second at this hotel in two months. It is easily accessible off 264W, clean and comfortable. I was greeted both times by courteous, friendly desk staff.
