Best Hotel Experience

Pros: Everything...from the shoe shine stand to the dining room!
Cons: I cannot think of anything ...everything was perfect in my opinion.
Location: Kentucky Kingdom ...and the Kentucky Expo...both are in walking distance and provide entertainment and fun for the entire family during the summer.
I was very impressed with the room, and it's cleanliness and comfort! I requested a refrigerator for personal medical reasons, and was accommodated quickly without problems. The staff from the front desk to house keeping were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I wish I could take my bed home with me because of it's comfort. I enjoyed my stay and will become a member of this chain's frequent guest from this point on!

Old, No fridge or microwave in the room, parking was terrible, sheets and blankets were crunchy feeling.....just not worth the money.

Pros: Clean, safe and well located. Meets all expectations for its brand name.
Cons: It was all good I don't have any complaints nor recommendations.
Location: Good access to main roads. Close to downtown.

What happened?

Location: Near airport , great location.
The entire hotel is spacious but is long overdue for an update. The fake plants need to go. They are dusty and home to critters. The room we had, had a working fridge that looked like it fell off the window and had a visible hardware sticking out. The room was clean but dark with dated lights. It's a Crown Plaza. Let us feel we in a Plaza. The staff is friendly but need help with hairdo and make up. You guys are the Crown Plaza.

False advertising

The photos on the website for this hotel do not reflect the true rooms. Some photos of the rooms look very modern when in reality the rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 80's minus the bathroom. We called down to the front desk asking to be switched to more updated room and we were told they all were like ours. For $160/night not even in downtown I would expect A LOT more.

Cons: The breakfast buffet. Everything was cold.... eggs, sausage... not good.
Nice hotel with nice amenities. Bar and full restaurant in hotel.

Simple and convenient

The location to the airport and expo center is extremely convenient. Given the location to the airport the hotel was quiet and expo center was in walking distance or the hotel shuttle would deliver you. The bar and restaurant at the hotel both had good menus and the food was much better than the typical things you would expect. The only issue was the bar and the restaurant had different menus and it they made it difficult to get something from one place to another. The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel price was reasonable, the shuttle to the airport and expo center made life easier so overall it was an excellent experience.

Very nice. Quiet. Nice pool. Clean. Large hole in room wall not fixed. Too many lights on outside room window at night.
