Horrible experience with unhelpful security

Had a very loud and obnoxious party going on in the room across the hallway, spilling out into the hallway. The entire hallway, our room included, reeked of marijuana smoke. There was yelling, and doors slamming all nightong. We called the front desk four times, as did others in the hallway. Three time security came up along with Louisville PD, told them to stop smoking pot and be quiet, each time they told them "if we have to come up again, you will have to leave". Never made them leave. This went on from 10pm-2am. Somebody pulled the fire alarm at 3am. We had 6 month old baby and a 2 year old in our room that were up crying all night.
We have stayed at the Galt House three times prior and have never an issue until this last stay. When we made another complaint with the front the desk at checkout, they offered to refund my $15 parking fee? How insulting. They then offered $50 off my $250 stay. After getting a phone call from the manager, they comped my stay, minus all the extra fees and taxes that I still had to pay. Oh well. Our weekend ended up being ruined since we were unable to carry through with our plans for the day, due to two cranky babies that were up all night. We ended up just going home. We always enjoy Christmas at The Galt House, but after this last experience, we will not be back. I understand that they do not control what patrons do, but they should have handled the situation.
