Little piece of heaven!

My husband and I stayed with our 3 adult children (21, 25 and 33) and their boyfriend/girlfriends and it was PERFECT!! Relaxing, spacious and more than comfy!! Thanks to Greg for letting us get in a bit early!! (Georgetta was unfortunately out of town) We will definitely return!!!

Spacious accommodations w nice view of river - really enjoyed watching the barges pass by.

Plenty of room to spread out and relax.

Nice home, lots of living space - price was right

I was planning a family get together (us and our adult children) and after searching for and not finding a cabin in Southern Indiana, I expanded my search into Kentucky. This property came up and a river front house seemed like a great alternative. I had some confusion after reading the description of the property (related to beds and bedrooms). The owner responded quickly to my message and cleared things up. He even followed up with a phone call to clarify. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms (plus a 1/2). The upstairs bathroom is luxurious and the downstairs bath is functional. Four bedrooms (or even five) would have been better for us (plus more bathrooms) but the price for this property was the deciding factor. The entire downstairs looked new and we found out it had been fully flooded earlier in the year. The clean-up and rebuild was excellent with no notable evidence. It is easy to find with Google maps and not hard to get to (if you don't mind narrow, winding roads - freshly paved, though). The host lives next door and was helpful when we arrived and upon departure. Definitely would recommend the property. It would be perfect for three couples plus maybe a couple of kids. There is plenty of sleeping room for others (couches and futons) but without much privacy. Living space and other amenities are excellent.

Wonderful getaway on the Ohio river

We were the first group to stay at the rental since the flood in February and the owners did a wonderful job of renovating. The house was in amazing condition and felt like being at home after meeting the owners who are wonderful people. We tried to fish the river but it wouldn't cooperate with us so we brought out the cornhole boards and played a few hours. We cooked some steaks on the grill and had a delicious dinner that evening. I would highly recommend this rental I have rented many houses and this is one of the best.

Inviting home. Wonderful view of the river!

We stayed at this home over Christmas with 8 family members. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations, especially all of the small reindeer. The owners checked in with us and were available if we had any questions. The house had plenty of room, with gathering spaces, tvs, and gas fireplaces both upstairs and downstairs. We especially enjoyed watching the river. Our family loved being at this house! Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the wonderful deck and porch spaces. We would rent it again.
