Nice Hotel With Casino

Our hotel room was clean, quiet, and had a comfortable bed and at a reasonable price. This was our second stay and we'll return should we return to the area.

Nice hotel close to several Event Venes

Pros: Good food, pleasant staff. Very clean.
Cons: Restaurants could be open for a better selection of times.
Location: Location was easy to find and was close to events and venues in southern Indiana and also Kentucky.
Good experience overall. A little disappointed in some amenities costs, example water in the rooms, vending machine items a little expensive. Felt the wheelchair rentals were too costly for the amount of time. Selection of times for the different restaurants was a little inconvenient for a 24-hour a day facility.

Hotel was nice but food area underconstruction

Pros: Room was nice size
Cons: Directions as to where everything is located
Location: There is Nothing but hotel and casino
Hotel did not have room service or food due to construction Only places in casino area which was a long way away Need more direct signs for first timers. Hotel lobby etc

Middle of Nowhere

Pros: The casino was okay. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.
Cons: The level of customer service from the front desk supervisors.
Location: There is nothing to do nearby. 10 miles from the nearest gas station so once you're there, you're stuck with their high prices. Pack well.
Hotel and Casino are literally in the middle of nowhere, 15 miles out of Louisville. Booked specifically because the amenities included a pool and hot tub. Nothing listed on Expedia or webpage about being closed since November for renovations. No apology from hotel staffing. Candy, the front desk supervisor at the time, was incredibly rude and offered nothing, not even an apology, for the situation and told me that it wasn't their fault. Too late to change hotels. Expedia customer service saves the day with their excellent customer service. Aside from that, the hotel was mediocre. Cheap coffee in the rooms, they charge you $4.00 for a bottle of water in the room. The complimentary body wash looks and smells like Dollar Store Dial hand soap. The conditioning shampoo leaves hair feeling like straw. Was not impressed at all.

I booked a non-smoking room. At check and I was told there was no non-smoking rooms available. after explaining to them I wanted my money back they decided there was not smoking rooms available. when finally in the room parts of the bathroom tile were missing. most every surface in the room was Dusty. this facility was most definitely not worth the cost.

The hotel is going through renovations so everything you love about the hotel is unavailable. Hotel, spa , rooms service , etc.

bathroom was disgusting! Human feces all over the toilet and light switch. We had to clean before using with CHLOROX.

Great little getaway.

Really nice hotel. Quiet. Clean. Being able to head down to the restaurants was nice. They are really good too. Wife and I jist needed a little away time and this was perfect. We stayed on a Monday so it was very quiet. The only complaint, and very minor, was the shower head in the bathroom wasnt in any way ajustable and was actually a little painful. Other than that everything was fantastic. Great decor. Great service. We will definitely go back. Next time for a few days.

Only issue we had was that our reservation which we made through hotels.com didn't show up in their system so it took us 30+ minutes to check in

Jason at the front check in is the greatest at customer service - would hire him in a second! The wifi service is poor and you do have to pay for amenities even if you don't use them or they are unavailable. The newly renovated room is very nice but no vent in the bathroom. The shampoo and soap in the auto dispensers are not great so bring your own if you are picky. The maid service is wonderful. Food options are limited but nice to have a mini frig in the room. There is ongoing construction on floors 3-5 currently and will continue on upper floors. So ask about noise from the workers to get a room that suits your needs. Floor two has been completed but there is some noise from above!
