I liked being able to catch a shuttle to the airport at the time needed. I've used this hotel for that purpose for years when flying internationally and having to leave very early. To me they haven't maintained the property as they had years ago when I first started using their services. I tried using the clock radio in the room as an alarm and it went off at midnight, several hours before I needed to get up. Also, they need to dust the rooms more frequently.

This hotel was close to the airport which was what we needed. Our non smoking room had a smoke smell so we asked and received another room. Nice size room, comfy bed and nice bathroom.

All the writing has been rubbed off the handles on the air and heating system. I can't tell how to turn the heat or ice. There is one drink vending machine that takes dollars. I had dollars but most people don't carry money. The food vending machine is worse. There's hardly anything in it and it only takes quarters. I'll probably stay in a different hotel next time I come to Louisville.

The front desk clerk didn't seem very knowledgable in checking us in or answering questions we had. The wifi was ok, worked well. There was no microwave in the room, coffee makings were there but had only one packet of sugar, no creamer and one stir stick. The breakfast left something to be desired. The juice machine didn't work, only one coffee dispenser, cold cereal and toast. Waffles? Oatmeal? None. Would stay there again in a pinch, for one night.

Horribly Unclean
The hotel is not in a great part of town, which I cannot fault them for, but the hotel did not do anything to make me feel more safe. However, the reason why I had to leave the room and cancel the second night was the cleanliness. It did not feel safe to stay there. There was dirt on the walls, the sheets had red dots and holes in them, and there was a used contraceptive device on the floor. Upon finding that I decided I could not stay the night there and promptly left. When I returned the next morning to cancel my second night the staff member got agitated. Overall a terrible experience and the only time I have had to leave a hotel before staying a single night.

I booked this hotel room on expedia.com and was able to get a very fair rate. The most impressive thing about my experience was the professionalism and genuine friendliness of the desk staff Daizha and Marquita. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. You can really tell these two take pride in their work, professionalism, and cleanliness of their hotel. They deserve a raise!!! Only minor issue is the hallway carpets which appear to be no fault of the staff. Just old, moldy, smelly, and stained. Owner should invest in new carpet in halls or at least a commercial cleaning.

Did not notice it the evening we checked in because we were very tired. There was human feces on the floor besides the toilet and on the edge of the bath tub and shower curtain. Also sheet had a stain on it and so did one of the pillow cases
